  • Are you worried about stretch marks during pregnancy? What about low energy during pregnancy? Bloating or swelling during pregnancy? Cellulite during pregnancy? Dry brushing can help! Actually, it can help with all of this and MORE even if you are NOT pregnant. This is great for anyone to do.

Dry brushing is an age-old practice that not only cleans the lymph system, but helps keep skin looking young, tight, and healthy. And, it has been said to help in the prevention of stretch marks and cellulite - pregnant or not.
This is a practice I now do on my body and face daily and have noticed many benefits since starting at the very beginning of my pregnancy.
I have yet to see one stretch mark, have not retained water/bloated, and my cellulite (although full disclosure, I had only 1 or 2 tiny patches pre-pregnancy) has not gotten any worse. I attribute this to a number of factors, including maintaining a healthy (ish) diet during pregnancy, genetics, staying well-hydrated, moisturizing and dry brushing. I thoroughly enjoy it and find it helps boost my energy, I have noticed an improvement in digestion, and I get major compliments on my skin, too.
Try this very enjoyable and invigorating practice for yourself!

Hi! I've started dry brushing about one year ago because I was loosing weight when I stopped some medication. I must say I didn't get any saggy skin and the cellulite that I have left is very reduced! I've since got pregnant (wohoooo to 25 weeks!) and have continued to do it. So far no new stretch marks. What I do after the shower is to use creams and/or natural oils. I feel that after dry brushing and the shower my skins absorbs all that goodness :) I was not doing the face but I sure will start now! Loved the video as soon as I saw it I went whaaaaaaaa! I need to see this! Congrats on the chanel it has helped me a lot! Kisses from Portugal!

HI Melissa, fist time commenting here. We used to do this type of brushing to help our daughter with Autism desensitize her skin in order to wear different types of fabrics. When she was 5 the brushing around the head, face, arms and legs was done on a daily bases, 3 times a day (crazy). It helped her with wonderful results. We only did this for a few months. But now I see per your video that it would be a good idea to do it like you do now that she is an adult. I will try on myself too. Heck, even my husband will try it on himself. ;-) Thanks dearest and I hope you have an easy labor. You and your husband will experience an instant falling in love when the baby arrives. It is an experience like no other. It is wonderful. Take care.

I never heard of dry brushing before, but my skin could sure use it, cuz I'm always battling dry skin. So thanks so much! I searched for you here, after seeing your book on Amazon. Best wishes to you, and your family 😊 I started using baby oil on a loofa, after cleansing, and it has truly made a difference. I use to put it on after showering, while I was still wet, and then towel dry. But I think using the loofa helps to really moisturize. Maybe it will help you, and your subs too!

I love dry brushing. But, it has been shoved to the back. No, literally. I have a dry brush and it's in the back of a bathroom vanity drawer. I'm getting that puppy out and start back up. You are so right that it feels invigorating and makes for smooth skin. I live in a dry humidity area and we haven't been getting the snow we usually do so it's super dry. My skin needs this. TFS

myozbubble I did use bio oil, coconut oil, and the body shops drops of youth religiously, I was very lucky to not get stretch marks but cellulite was was unavoidable lol. Dry brushing really helped my skin absorb the oils and remove dead skin but also got the blood pumping which also stopped my tummy getting itchy from the stretching as I got bigger and perked me up for the day.
