Unless you have a sostenuto pedal, sustaining any of the notes will indeed do that :). About the "jumbled mess" - why would that be? With the exception of the final note of the melody in each bar (which you play on a totally unstressed beat so it shouldn't be a problem) starting at 1:25 and lasting 6 bars, most of the notes that are played in the melody are part of the bar's chord - Gm, D7, Gm, Ebm, Gm and D7, respectively. By 'most' I mean all except for the first 2 melody notes in the bar that is in Ebm - I think the first half could best be described as suspended chords that resolve to 'pure' Ebm on the third beat? I should add that you release the pedal in between each bar of course!
I just after rehearing this heard how the ending is the exact same as the cleansing and it gave me chills, Marvin Kopp is a genius.
My heart skipped a beat when I heared it, too!
Sehr gut! Und Ehre für das kostenlose Sheet
I love Enderal
1:25 my left hand died
have you tried using the sustain pedal? :)
@@windblownleaves wouldn't that also sustain the other notes you are playing in that sequence? It would just make it a jumbled mess imo
