There are a few rough spots in the original which I transcribed rather literally - it's much more noticeable if played purely on the piano. I agree that especially the last part has some things that don't sound great - look at 3:04, for example. The original bass is an F# and the original melody plays an E. I put another F# 2 octaves above the bass, but since it's much higher, it makes a minor seventh with the melody. That said, in cases like these, would you prefer me to stick close to the original and have it sound a bit off, or would you rather I disregard the original and make it sound good?
