Hey Jeff. It’s a privilege that you share all this stuff with us at all; please never feel guilty when there’s a necessary gap between videos - most of us understand the pressures of making a success of a business and juggling the rest of the madness that is life right now. Chill, dude and realise that we appreciate you no matter what 🙂
Great video Jeff always enjoy watching you work dirt with FW and Killdozer. Yeah when you found the line in the dirt was thinking the same. But thought maybe it was old dead line. Glad the customer knew about it. Thanks for sharing stay safe Jeff.
Hey Jeff. A little piece of advice on 7018, after each bead, give a quick flick of the wrist to get the ball off the end. The restrike will be much easier. I've done that many times myself when I've welded with 7018's
Jeff there is a burn kit that you can get from pharmacy its the best thing going we have in our plant for burns it can be cut to fit the issue. its pricy but well worth it. looks like you need a paddle dirt mover I used to drive a Hancock and it was the bomb. Don't know how it would worrk in the rocks maybe you doing the best way. good vid though this is one of the first jobs i had in the 70"s man i loved it. did supdivisions all parts.
Jeff put out what videos you can. We know life gets busy and some things need to be put aside for a bit. Well be here when you get the footage out no worries on that. Take care definitely appreciate all your hard work.
love yr work young fella doing vertical up welds is a real skill and my guess is yours would be as good as mine cheers to you love yr posts from australia
Making land, my family come to Ky in the late 1680's and they made land clearing trees, but a lot of the county we live in was baron so it was put into crop and pasture, thus called Barren County Ky...Great Vid👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺
Got to love that burried treasure. I was clearing a pasture many years ago near an old compressor station that still had a live line running through it. After calling TX one call, I started calling numbers on line markers. Half of the old numbers were answered by doughnut and dress shops in Oklahoma and Texas. I grabbed a mesquite tree by the root and just as I was getting a good pull on it the ground ripped to the right and left! I immediately smelled gas, turned key off, opened the door and didn't stop running for a while. Turned out to be a dead and abandoned 3" gathering line, boy was that residue in it raunchy! 🤧
On that dirty metal my go to is good ole “1109” hahaha I mean 6011. Try going in a welding supply and ask for 1109 rod. I love their reaction. Thanks for the video.
Those service trucks are excellent for the job. We don't have any trucks like that in the UK. It's surprising how backward we are. That truck has everything. Just having that crain is marvelous. If you could sell those service trucks here You could make a fortune.
I was thinking I dunno about the jersey gloves and welding... I guess you figured it out..Heh Heh I remember installing those reversible fans on new 518 Skidders when I worked at the Cat dealer nearly 30 years ago. Not a lot of room to work and always got skinned knuckles trying to squeeze them in there and tighten the bolts. To this day I hate those things. Double barrel water separation on a double barrel scraper, that makes sense.
Surely you'll be able to retire one day Jeff. I got early retirement in 2005 aged 54, and have loved every minute of being free to do what I like - and I actually loved my job. You'll find no end of cool things to fill your time with.
I know that sinking feeling when you hit something you shouldn't have... mine was the main water line from the pump in the creek to the feed lot water troughs. 2 x cartoons of Great Northern to say sorry for that one.
jeff help were trapped in the oar! dont leave us lol i sent ya the link to another geology hub video on idaho BTW also jeff your the do it all im sure your back hurts from carryin it all so thank you for the videos
Jeff I see some slack in those connection links on the leveling head or whatever it’s called where the girl pivots, is that pin wear or bushing wear in those links ?
Borken Kill dozer… Borken FH …. I would say you have been Borked….😂😂😂😂. Easy being Cheesy! Welds look good from my house!!!! So if you were to stand on your head you would be welding down hill …better weld??? Got to soak incider 😂
So have 1/2 push , 1/2pull …then be like Dr Zeus scrapers be true push me/pull yous 😂. Hey have to forgive me? Just woke up and no coffee yet my mind is in funny land 😂
Dammit, Jeff. I'm sorry. I skipped the pre-show ads. I'll try to make up for it by leaving a RUclips algorithm booster comment. #JeffWins #ShopForemanMrGriffyApproved
So you are saying the fw has done more work in the last 4 years then in the first 50😂 kidding aside it seems all hoses have gotten poorer. Used to see hoses that had the putter covering gone and wire braids rusted not leaking now they blister through the cover with no signs of wear
Put it in your contract anything unforseen, un identified, acts of god, weather, riots,God,,, can possible be charged as Xtra $$ I have something in my agreements and it save my ace. Also fuel put escalation clause for cost increases owner pays all additional costs

I guess that post about 20' to the left of where you were ripping was worthy of being ignored, eh? No muss, no fuss, no bother. Any other posts around there you can ignore? Man, when you hit that thing I had eyes on the rise in the ground. I thought momentarily that you had disturbed the Devil and he was coming up to chastise you. lol
Jeff as you are dealing with so much rocky landscapes lately !! Would it pay to look at acquiring a rock rake for your D9 blade, As to me getting rid of the rocks has got to be a lot more beneficial for your land reclaiming eventually. !!

Not enough iron in the dirt for the weld to stick
Thanks for sharing Jeff. There's nothing like buried treasure to get Your heart going. Best Wishes.
As I get older the climbing and crawling under gets worse than the wrenching and welding...
Thanks from northern Nebraska...no rocks here 😎 😅
Tacking welds here and applications...lol

Thanks for the show Jeff 🍻 🇦🇺
My tiny stable of “Heavy Equipment” (two old loaders) gives me fits with the hydraulic hoses giving up after only 60+ years of service.
You would think they should last forever, they're just flexible pipes. 😂
On that dirty metal my go to is good ole “1109” hahaha I mean 6011. Try going in a welding supply and ask for 1109 rod. I love their reaction. Thanks for the video.
Well done Jeff another good video, you do well to get videos out 😊
That D9 does some fine ripping!
Those service trucks are excellent for the job. We don't have any trucks like that in the UK. It's surprising how backward we are. That truck has everything. Just having that crain is marvelous. If you could sell those service trucks here
