Hey Jeff, certainly a bit of luck with the hammer. Long time viewer, admire the way you grind out the job every day repairing the old equipment. You will win!
Great video Jeff nice to see the guards and roller come of with some hammering. It never fails the hammer head works loose from all that pounding. Liked the flying hammer head. Thanks for sharing stay safe Jeff and Mr Griffy.
After wrestling with the inger-sissy impact having to switch to the 45# air wrench had to be a treat. My favorite thing about cutting and welding was skin-diving that molten metal. Thank You for spending the time to video all this Jeff. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Every time you post something on the D9, it brings back memories of working in the coal mine. Those tractors can be rebuilt as many times as you can find parts. Great update on the d9. Hopefully, you have better luck with this side compared to the left side.
Junkyard my ass, you have the cool stuff that is in great shape! We had an 88A, it was a beast for it's time and paved the road for alot of the modern loaders. 14G is an amazing grader to run, next best for lighted jobs is the 140g. Next is you haven't lived until you've run a 40's d7 or 6 with the top mount pony motor crank. Thank you sir for sharing your life and equipment.
Love my 200 to 400 psi air hammer, but my can’t live without are my hydraulic torque wrenches. Beat’s all the others hands down. Learned from my time in the Navy and working in the ship yards. Nothing compares.
🎶 what the people need, is a way to make them smile🎶 …. Whoa whoa listen to the music!!” 😂😂 your phones got good taste!! You can’t paint the kill dozer - it’ll be to pretty to work!! Thanks for sharing Jeff!!!
Hey Jeff, it’s always a seeing and learning experience spending time with you plying your skills on old metal, just so long as I learn at least one thing from your video then it’s good….the Doobie Bros was a bonus. Keep on going young fella
I had a dog like that once, he was a mix of poodle and golden retriever back when we called them mutts and got him for free not $2000 each like now adays; back to what I was sayin', that mutt would pee on everything and we used to laugh and laugh, when he finally would run out. but that didnt stop him he'd keep trying over and over and we'd laugh and say that dust was comin out but he never cared one bit. LOL
"What time is it, hun?" 'Early, go back to sleep' "Can't, that church bell keeps clanging, 5, 6am" 'Nope, Jeff is working from home again today' Hey, look. 2 air hammers.
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota. The rains quit and now 60 hour work weeks are back. So guess I be bringing up the rear. I'll take the cash. They always told I be a ditch digger... LMAO
I was blacksmithing with some friends, the project of that day was to drift some 3/4" holes through some 1.5" solid bar stock to make a 4 legged display all mortised together. Well, me being the brute with the hammer, my other friend was holding the drift as I tried to hammer it through the steel. As I went on my upswing I felt an odd give to the hammer but just a bit and as I changed direction to going down the head flew off of my 10 pound hammer and hit my friend in the wrist of the hand holding the drift. I felt awful about it. Looked just like what you did there but hit someone directly first. Sorry other Paul if you are reading this, had no idea that was what it was going to do.
Ah Jeff me learn long time ago that them thar slip on boots are NOT meant for welding and cutting as i had a gobber the size of a quarter go thru my pant leg down my shin and landed on top of my foot and burnt deep into the top of my foot . Since then it had been lace ups as tall as i can find .
The example of using dozers to push sand out of ocean onto beach. I am afraid that you and I and a lot of other working people pay for that to be done. Probably contractors rent dozers at a very high rent rate because the equipment rental place knows when it comes back the dozer will need more than a complete overhaul. My personal opinion is let the ocean do what ever it wants, don't build houses next to beach.
They then haul them to the Midwest somewhere for an equipment auction. Where some sucker would never dream, it has spent most of its life at the beach!🙄
@Jpaydirt Please make a short video on that id love to hear your take on rock crusher - soil mills and any experience you may have with them as compared to the methods i have seen in most of your videos - collect seperate and burry stones then cover with fill dirt compared to a rock crusher this seems quite laboreous , to be honest i truely wonder if fuel efficiency warrants this method compared to crushing and reclaiming the surface rock to 3 ft depth and call it farmable for the next 20 years im a fan of this technology and its specialized capabilites - its just rad cutting out so much transportation and earth moveing with a simple task Id love to see you test a promotional maschine from any of the manufacturers - if you ask, you fairly certainly will get response with your kind of outreach would be interesting to see something like that mounted on the D8 or D9 instead of the ripper ruclips.net/video/FaIQfMFi9wI/видео.html ruclips.net/user/shortsEQ5PPF8yMA8 ruclips.net/video/ib_t4sSAz0Y/видео.html ruclips.net/video/MgfPn9me8Gw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/_lxmP519kYI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/rF4YYk0A6TY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/FNPLQhXDLTs/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Gjx0umpg6IE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/YrGsweFiau8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/C0Dyd7Y5yE8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/c9wa3cJTRaY/видео.html you have my gratitude if you watch even half of these .

Get the duck tape I did that when I had a hole in my jeans and dropped welding sparks and metal from my torch in my boots
Nice Elite earthworks shirt.
@17:45 When your hammer reaches enlightenment. Flying sharks in Idaho? I saw a hammerhead sailing through the air.
مرحبا جيف انا اتابعك من سوريا واعمل سائق البلدوزر كم هوا رائع عملك انك فنان

Oh man you got lucky with that loose hammer head
Flex seal on the boots

I've watched a lot of equipment auctions and you can see the clapped out Florida stuff. That big 45lb impact is a monster. Great video.
You can almost play where's Waldo with your Galions. Pretty much every shot has a Galion in the frame Jeff.
your beer fund by way of the scrap yard must be tremendous
Standing on the track frame with the vevor it looks like your using a jack hammer
One piece at a time
❤رائع
Can't figure out why you're replacing those rollers.....
Gorilla tape works wonders PS for the shoes
No junk yard there mate its all yellow gold.
Also can i ask why you do all of this out side of the shop ?
Why not a wafer wheel on a grinder instead of plasma or an arc? At least you'd get a straight line. :-)
18:04 you kinda were lucky not to catch that with your noggin
I can't believe a cheap Vevor impact out-performs IR... time to sell that IR on eBay.
Chinese made hammer ?
Do you think you got your money out of those rollers,Damn
Ba bam
Jeff is Mr Griffy giving the D 9 SEA WATER behind you back ?
@Jpaydirt Please make a short video on that
id love to hear your take on rock crusher - soil mills and any experience you may have with them as compared to the methods i have seen in most of your videos - collect seperate and burry stones then cover with fill dirt
compared to a rock crusher this seems quite laboreous , to be honest i truely wonder if fuel efficiency warrants this method compared to crushing and reclaiming the surface rock to 3 ft depth and call it farmable for the next 20 years
im a fan of this technology and its specialized capabilites - its just rad cutting out so much transportation and earth moveing with a simple task
Id love to see you test a promotional maschine from any of the manufacturers - if you ask, you fairly certainly will get response with your kind of outreach
would be interesting to see something like that mounted on the D8 or D9 instead of the ripper

Geoff that air tool is far superior for removing those bolts than that battery heap of s 5
How
😂🤣
Why do you waste time with the battery operated tools?
Just go right for the AIR POWER!
Invest time with IC Weld channel. He is from the same cloth. Just better than you.
