I don't believe in the tinctures. They dilute down the essence 10 times to have more product to sell

Maybe crisco would be a good replacement for the vaseline.

it might but it also might add a smell. I don't know. the fact that Crisco is made from cottonseed oil has been something I could never get over or see people eating. let alone use for a lure. LOL
