🤣🤣🤣 hilarious! Gotta love your humor. I've seen those Saigoale guns and figured they wasn't worth trying. The Ntools still seems like the better deal for someone wanting something as cheap as possible but not cheap in performance. My hat is off to you, Pete. You're definitely of high value to the spray gun community
Hi Boss, I have had a fair few people talk about these in one way or another, so I thought I would see for myself. You can tell quite a lot from a gun pattern, I wasn't expecting much difference between these two, but it surprised me a little. Time will tell 👍 Thanks mate, good to hear it put a smile on your face, cheers, buddy 👍
@peteshobbies5383 hi pete what is your thoughts on the walcom carbonio clear gun stands for high automation low over spray any information would be helpful was thinking about buying one is it worth it -
Hi Mate, I've only got the new Sagola Pro clear cap so can only say about that, but it's very good. The Walcom Carbonio I like although it a job to keep up with all the changes (supposedly) they make to there gun, the result, I'm sure, in the same performance with different names 😁. I have a 360 Lite HTE and MP, they are very good but no better than the Sagola, as far as low overspray is concerned, I don't see it
Hi buddy, As you will know, both these guns are relatively inexpensive, so both do well for the money, but, for me, there is no doubt that the 4000B is better 👍
Always love your videos. Thank you for keeping me entertained and informed. I always have young guys with a limited budget wanting to get better at painting and I have bought a few paint guns that you have recommended to try out so I can recommend them to the youngins in my area. One of my guys bought the Saigaole a little while back and was having issues spraying metallics out of it, I don't own one, but after watching this video I can see why he was struggling with modeling so much.
Hi mate, good to hear you enjoy the videos, Yeah, it's not the best pattern for metallics, especially silvers. It's ok for most stuff, but for the price, the Ntools 4000B is better, cheers buddy 👍
Hey bud. Thanks for another fascinating video. What I like most about your content is just how detailed you are in explaining all the nuances in these guns. I know you enjoy making them and I love watching, thanks
Another informative and entertaining video. From the get go you were always impressed with the 4000B and as yet nothing touches it for the money. A £40 spray gun with £400 spray gun results. I see you can get a 1.7 tip for the 4000B and then it would make a great primer gun too, assuming the tip is 1.7 and not the same as the 1.3 as we;'ve seen with other chinese guns on your channel. Keep em coming Pete, Ive watched every video now and bought 4 of the different guns you have featured even though I dont need em....what a nob I am eh 😀😁
Hi John, yeah, you're right, I was, and am, impressed buy the 4000B, so much so I'm keeping a eye out for an original Sata version, don't need it, but, as you say, need and wants are completely different 😉. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos, mate. I genuinely enjoy making them and swapping messages and the like with you guys, makes me realise, I'm not the only madman around 😂 cheers John 👍
Hey Pete I’m kinda stuck between getting a 4000b ntools or the dram spray gun with v nozzle. What would you choose after trying them both out? See I had lph400 that I had to sell and I loved how fine that spray gun sprayed. I’m pretty sure it sprayed like that because of the v style tip. But then again I love your vids on the ntools 4000b.
Hi Pete, great comparison between these two guns mate as I said on your other page I've seen the Saigaole guns for sale and often wondered what they were like🤔 I was surprised at how different the spray patterns were it just shows what a difference it makes when a diffuser is added to the tip, as you said the baffle would effect it to some degree but the tip design is probably the biggest difference between the guns, it will be interesting to see how it sprays👌loved the outtake at the end mate and there was me thinking I was the one loosing the plot🤪🤣🤣 I'll be uploading a video later mate of the first use of the ProXL 605 VHS clear, don't forget your wellies as we are going surfing on the waves🏄♂🤦♂🤣
Hi John, yeah, I was surprised there was any difference in these apart from styling, but they are completely different. Yeah, for a moment, I wondered what the hell was going on. It soon became obvious, though. There's an idiot on the end of the gun 😂 Cheers mate, hopefully tomorrow's trial will go better 👍
Thanks for all your time and effort..Are we able to get replacement baffles for the Ntools 4000B? Also, can we buy a 1.7 tip for the N4000?..I wonder if the N1000 1.7 knozzle and tip would fit and work properly?..Thanks again
Hi, As far as I know you can't by spares these, they are relatively cheap so suppling spares probably isn't worth it for the manufacturer. People have told me the have purchased the 4000B in 1.8 so it seems you can buy them, but you would need to get the whole gun rather than just a tip set
Hey Pete, thanks for this Video! This is the gun I talked about in the past. I was totally desperate when there was no fluid coming out anymore while I was painting! The problem was, that the air hole in the Lid was closed! Not punched the hole in the air-way I mean. Later I drilled the hole a little bit bigger. My experience is, that the gun OK for metallic paints. Some names for this gun are: 5800B 6800B and if you order a RP gun, they paint RP on it, if you order a HVLP gun.... 😂😂 did you ever paint with it? I am really pleased to watch your videos. My English is bad, but it's possible to understand you. Thanks and best regards 🙋🏻♂️
Hi mate, your English is great 👍, I've literally just received it, I was trying it today, so far, so good although it's more a base gun than a clear gun, but it's early days 😀
Very informative video, thank you. Surprising result actually. I often look at these different guns for sale and reckoned they have now become copies of copies😂. Not so obviously! Quick question though, years back when we mixed up paint (cellulose), we would run it through a Ford no. 4 cup and go with the time required to empty as per the TDS, adding thinners to get the correct time. Is that never done now? Thanks Pete, great work
Hi Mate, Yes, It's still done today, I have a Ford no 4, often called a Din 4 cup , so a 4mm hole, that's how I know the mixed thinners and clear is the right consistency, I just measure it now , but did use a Ford 4 cup for the first time, 18 seconds to be exact. Take a look at this video. It's using a Ford 4 cup, showing the effect of warming clear coats, cheers, buddy 👍 ruclips.net/video/VRCGv6Rxw1Q/видео.html
Pete, I think I've watched almost all your content..... how can you afford all these guns? It's insane! 😂😂😂😂 Love the content, tho I wish you did more on the preparation and mixing thinners, hardener, basecoat, and primer. But keep the content coming! We will keep watching 😊
Hi mate, I certainly agree it is insane 😂, to be honest, something like this gun I wouldn't normally buy, but I get money from RUclips so I feel it fair to spend it covering things that maybe I wouldn't buy. Sometimes, they aren't particularly good, but sometimes, like the Ntools 4000B, they are actually quite good and absolutely brilliant considering the price. That allows someone who's not as fortunate or mad as me to get a good tool without going through the not so good stuff, which was the original idea of the channel I guess, to share what I do and steer people in the right direction. Thanks for watching, it really is appreciated 🙏
Hi buddy, normally, with any spray gun, when you turn the fan in to make it smaller, the air pressure at the gauge will start to go up, not down. Greetings to you in Spain 👍
@jsuarz6008 When you turn in the adjuster, as well as redirecting the air it starts to restrict the flow of air going to the tip, this should pust the pressure, as shown on the gauge, up a little
Hi Luke, I'm dyslexic so I really struggle with anything out of the ordinary, so this thing has tied me in knots 😅, typically Chinese, I guess , playing on the real thing, although maybe they should know German technology and Sagola doesn't go together 😅, cheers mate 👍
