It's gonna be one helluva training camp duel between Kris Dunn and Bones Hyland for the backup point guard spot, IMO Kris Dunn has the size advantage at 6'3 6'4 205lb with a 6'9 wingspan with an elite perimeter defensive pedigree. Your sleeping on Kris Dunn but the Clippers coach staff and management know actually what they have and he's a keeper KD8!🦍
@_AVC_ Hell naw you just don't know what was really going on in Utah with Kris Dunn he should have been the starting point guard from day one of that season but the Jazz were shopping THT & Jordan Clarkson so they put Dunn on the back burner minutes wise until they literally had no choice but to start him over THT & Keyonte George then they folded and completely started their Tank and handed Keyonte George his starting spot. Kris Dunn is a All NBA defensive team level player and is about to go crazy for the Clippers who are a true veteran team that value their premier talents especially their vet's 😉
Kris Dunn, Bones Hyland and KPJ gonna be in a dogfight for minutes, whoever loses (Bones most likely) should get packaged in a trade for more front court size like a 6’10 stretch big
If I’m honest, we REALLY need an expansion. The trailblazers currently somehow have depth at EVERY position with like seemingly too many gaurds AND too many centers. And the league isn’t seeing enough of the bottom of the end of the team players being able to perform…
Love the vid! I see many people say that the PG loss isn't that "big" because they lost only the 3rd option (Because Harden can be a second option). PG is a 2nd option, Harden is barley a third option now. Yes he will be better, yes he is ball dominant, but he can't play defense, he cand get to the rim the way he used to. PG is an Elite two way wing, and he is way healthier than Kawhi... If they lose many games this year (which I think they do), maybe try to trade Kawhi to the thunder. OKC get a great Vet, with championship exp, can play with and without other stars, can help you keep a defensive and offensive Identity, and adds size to the wing position. It can be a Win now move, while all you give back to the clippers is some of their picks back, salary fillers, and maybe a Topic or Dieng... I think it is very logical, but I don't see it happening for two reasons: 1. The clippers won't do it because it is admitting the PG trade wasn't good. 2. OKC will want to keep the picks, hope the clippers will be VERY BAD anyways, and get the picks for themselves
@@LiamEdelshtein Yeah they are certainly going to be a team to watch this year. So much talent but not a lot of guarantees. I can see just about anything happening 😅
Great content again. These vids really help understand where teams are really at. I think the Clippers will be OK this year. Obviously a lot depends on the health of Harden and Kawhi, but I think Jones and Porter are nice pickups and as you mentioned, are on good contracts. Also Zubac is underrated. Porter could really surprise - if he gets it together, he could be a real difference maker on this team.
@@Channel45-wn9of 100%! Porter is such a weapon on offense and you already have a ton of defensive talent on the team. It just feels like a castle built on sand ya know? One wave knocks it all down.
I would have like to see them move Paul George for Siakam before he went to Indiana, he was already excellent next to Kawhi and would balance out the front court with Zubac
Yep, it was obvious PG wasn’t staying unless he got a crazy deal and this new cba basically makes that pointless, Siakam play style next to harden would’ve been even more intriguing
Can’t lie if I’m going to make a trade I’m in shooting for Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Issac I rather have deni than grant can just do more from the floor for less and matisse to keep On defense theme they have going on or duop reath to help center depth
Well, i guess your prediction fits 25-26 season. This year they gonna try brinigng fans to their new arena. So PI looks for me more realistic. I bet you predict NOPs' 6th seed and Houstons' 11th) .
Once the smoke settles, the LA Clippers are going to offer Kris Dunn 4 years 40 to $48mil + deal on his 3rd year team option to retire a Clipper mark my words he's that dynamic defensively and as a playmaker/ facilitator along with his underrated leadership skills especially vocally your gonna find out very soon 😉📈💰
@_AVC_ Who? Bernie Lee 🤔😆 Naw seriously though the Clippers are going to offer Kris Dunn a deal similar to how Boston & OKC did for Sam Hauser Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe on their team option years of their contracts it wouldn't effect the cap because the Clippers own his "Bird Rights" You gonna see what happens Kris Dunn is a pure Dawg for years to come mark my words
The long wait has finally come. You have them as the 13th seed and that’s exactly where i have them as well. Nobody’s questioning the talent on paper they have right but the big key to the clippers is health. They just lost paul george for absolutely nothing (looking back at the okc trade they got fleeced), now they were able to sign some role players because he left however losing paul george is still huge. Like u say hes the allstar role player who can do everything solid. Then we see kawhi this offseason already pull out of the olympics due to health concerns and if the clippers arent doing well to start i just dont think kawhi will be on the court at all. I think this could be one of them kawhis Mia for the yr. Looking at these comments talking about how the clippers just built a new arena so they wont sell. Well lets be real if kawhis not on the court then u got no fans. And if hes not on the court then the clippers aint good then u might as well sell for assets. I hear people bring up the idea of even a possible kawhi trade which to me i find unlikely. I think his health is really a big deal, i cant imagine him anywhere other than L.A tbh and also i dont see too much being given up for him. Not saying its lackluster return but its not gonna be like a star level package. That first trade u made assuming the clippers are winning and make a winning move i like the idea of adding grant. Lengthy wing who can defend and shoot is something thats needed as they lack size and need people who can score.
@@M8trix6363 Well said as per usual sir. Yeah this feels like a pre written story. Obviously a lot can happen with a team this talented, but my intuition says “don’t be fooled.”
