I cannot say enough good things about my Hermès Birkin, however, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t cons to consider if you are buying a Birkin bag, especially in the size 35.

I use to think that Birkin bags were for older women, who have lived, and have a lot of life experience but seeing your bag and how you wear it makes me think that I can wear it too. I am a working professional in my late twenties.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I would never buy a birkin bag lol but watching you talk about it is really exciting for some reason.

Thanks so much! like I said, I was really shocked with how much I liked it when I first saw it! I was always a gold hardware girlie, but after knowing how much I like it on this one, I would absolutely consider more silver hardware bags, or silver/two toned jewellery 🤍

Thanks so much! I have to agree, the majority of hermes bags I'm honestly not really into - the mini Lindy, or in the regular size, is one especially that I just can't get behind! My favourites are the most classic for sure, the birkin and kelly! The constance I would probably also pass on... I've seen really beautiful versions of it, but I'm not so much of a shoulder/crossbody kind of gal 🤍 What's your favourite bag?? Are you more into Chanel?

@@ErinCara to be honest with you the size 30 is perfect size it’s not heavy and yes its a daily use white colour is stunning sometimes it does get little bit dirty but all you need to do is wipe the bag due to being a every day use bag. It’s a must have

I totally understand that! In the beginning, I was definitely more paranoid, but I’ve also noticed, as I’ve got more comfortable with wearing it that the majority of people don’t know what a birkin is, so the threat isn’t as bad as it seems… At least, in my case! it also, of course, depends on the city, definitely have to be smart about where you are and whether or not taking the bag is worth it!

Ummmm, I would say that I absolutely do love the things I own, but that I know their place in the priority list. I don't think this is a bad question! When I first got my birkin, I realized that it's not some illusive thing that's unattainable. I worked really hard for it, and saved my pennies until I was ready and able to afford it. When I look at it now, I see accomplishment and hard work more than a status symbol, and that's why I love it. If I'm being honest, I think I was more materialistic before I got it, and now that I have it, I appreciate it for the effort and discipline it took for me to get it. Hope that answers your question 🤍
