A boss that is stupidly hard to beat but has a glaring weakness isn't bad boss design. Insisting on beating a boss the hard way like not using intentionally designed weak points is just a self-imposed challenge.
Yes, it is awful boss design. Imagine if you were forced to press a single specific button. That might as well be a forced easy mode in a souls game. That just doesn't make sense.
@@addison_v_ertisement1678 If every enemy was like that then yes it would be bad design, but if it's just one enemy type then I don't see the problem. Making players adapt to enemies with different weaknesses is not bad game design.
Also, I don't know if you know this, but the Soulsborne games have _always_ had "easy modes". It's, like, a fundamental principle of Soulsborne game design, and it's part of why players keep coming back to them. Soulsborne games are hard when you don't know what you're doing, but once you _do_ know what you're doing you could make relatively quick work of the game.
Just look at Jacksepticeye's Dark Souls III playthrough, arguably the hardest game in the trilogy and he steamrolled the whole thing including DLCs in a _single sitting._

8:13 for clarification, *most* of the negative reviews are actually coming from China and them saying about the "blue bear" i.e. anti cheat. I've only seen 1 video correcting the misconception about the mixed reviews, but this is also not saying people are not leaving negative reviews about the difficulty, but upon further investigation it's mostly, again, about the "blue bear".

@@CaptainCFalcon it's less about the 'cheating' part and more about anti cheat softwares being very intrusive to your PC. This 'blue bear' often takes permission you don't want ever on your PC and it can lead to system instability, performance issues, security risks, etc.

Tbh I'm not going to upgrade to PC yet bc I'm not so good with tech. A console is great since it's relatively low maintenance, it's cheaper( if your only looking to use a pc for games), and you don't have to worry about game performance too much.
the minecraft one is likely the photo camera mod, It lets you take photos and turn them into posters you can place, you can also adjust the size of them freely. And like all paintings and posters you can just walk through. As for how, she ether jumped as she went though, or she was in creative flying just above the ground.

I modded the game so everything does 20% less dmg, just so i can play how i like and not how i suppossed to. If the builds/weapons/skills were better balanced or the bosses were designed better i wouldnt have to do that, but no. I guess i suck in the eyes of the soulslike community, but hey... imagine to have fun in a videogame, lol

fire golem stun threshold is based on number of hits, not dmg, or weapon, you can stun it fast with daggers or with the pest threads incantation, at 3 stuns it opens the critical hit on the head
