I like how you use the names of your friends as if we (the audience) are familiar with them and know who you’re talking about. It makes the video feel so much more personal.

The algorithm gave me this randomly. I'm not sure what prompted it to, but I'm glad it did. This is an interesting method and I might try starting one of these this year.

I really appreciate the idea that art is not the end product. The art is the doing. Makes actually doing art feel much more approachable

I love the idea of creating this as the year goes on. I used to think having inspirational quotes or what-have-you was silly, but now i get it. We might know these things, but being reminded of them can be very helpful. And the creativity that this activity inspires is also super dope!

Your mood board is incredibly fascinating! I loved every scrap of paper on it! Greetings from a fellow artist on the other side of the ocean :)

Sounds like this is going to Bullet Journal/Reading RUclips if I got recommended it! I like this idea a lot! I made a small vision board this year as a new years eve activity. I think it was super healthy for me- it helped me reset and actually see the stuff I was thinking about but couldn't execute. I kind of want to make something like this for just my house. It's a lot of my friends "third place" and having a space like this would be really fun!

Ah thanks that’s awesome that you have a space like that for your friends! It’s a cool daily reminder of like inspirations & aspirations, I really wanted to go to Seattle last year (hence the space needle pic), didn’t happen haha but instead of forgetting about it I remember how much I wanted to go and might try to plan for it this year! It really helps with that kinda stuff🔥

Subscribed, my guy. I just saw your video The Importance of Real Things, loved it, and I clicked on this one to see if it was a one hit wonder, or if you changed up your tone, or if this was consistently the kind of thing you made. Very happy to see it's a similar vein, and I'll happily be returning for me. Hope your 2024 is going well!

This is so interesting ! I started doing vision boards three months at a time last year and it helped me tremendously, but I have no place to put the sentimental junk and the little phrases that inspire me or I think throughout the year (i'm trying journaling, struggling) anyways, I think I would try this out, seems fun

As we approach the start of month 6 of 2024, I hope you have found some more things to inspire you this year! Lots of good things in this video for the creative person trying to find their way in a world of content, algorithms and a growing and desperate need for authenticity and truth. Maybe truth was always in the eye of the beholder, but I remember a time when it felt like more of us could agree on the same basic truths without all the conspiracies - the world felt a little more comforting. With any luck, us creatives will keep creating our truth and more of the world will see the value of it, when AI and content for content's sake is at saturation point and people get sick of it. You got a good vibe about you, I would love it if you feel inspired to keep creating, as watching your videos is enjoyable :)

I'm sure someone else has commented this, but it is actually very easy to lose tarot cards and misplace one at a party, for example, haha. I'm sure that person has a semblance of an idea of where they might've left it, and are kicking themselves every time they use that deck now

I was planning to make a mood/vision board this year, and this video made me decide I'm actually going to do so. That being said, I'm really happy this was suggested to me. I really needed this. x
