    She destroyed her own career

      @KingdomOfJudahARE NegroSlaves 'SHE PASSED THE SOBRIETY TEST! ' Get your head out of your ass, a 'field sobriety test' is only a basic field measure so an officer can ascertain if a person appears to be drunk. Even if they 'pass' it, they can still call for the real test. 'Passing' it is totally meaningless. If they didn't pass the real blood alcohol limit test they were above the limit, period.

      KingdomOfJudahARE NegroSlaves < So I’m confused, Did she or did she not pass the test? You say she didn’t fail the test but the judge said vise-versa ? Clearly the judge also quoted the ex- judge was given another one or two chances more, by a second judge, clearly this ex- judge has a addiction and it’s a shame to see a beautiful black women , very educated , intellectual soft spoken but firm women who loss her entire career, with many years of schooling, studying, and sweat. Imagine what it took her to succeed for such a very powerful role . Hopefully she takes the time she’s given to think of her actions, and to realize she doesn’t have the POWER to do what she wants, she took advantage

    • @Amanda-James
      @Amanda-James 3 года назад +3

      KingdomOfJudahARE NegroSlaves she was convicted of the DWI. How did that happen if she was not drunk? She also even admitted that she failed to comply with probation’s order to abstain from drugs and alcohol. She thought that, because she was a judge, she could break the law and violate and even terminate her own probation! She showed a blatant disregard for the law and for the terms of both her conditional release and probation. She embarrassed and undermined the entire judicial system. No one broke the law here but HER. And that bleach blonde hair looks ridiculous. A more natural color would be much more flattering.

      The “once” judge also knew better and made a mockery of the judicial system. The excuses of repeatedly ignoring community service, attending counseling, and I bet the “therapist” was a friend or confidant who she used as another excuse. Had she paid her fines, attended counseling, completed community service, and not broke conditions of her dwi misdemeanor this would have never blown up in her face. She was worse than some brat or drunk because she was “the law” who flushed her career over her disgust of losing her seat as a judge. She is passing the blame and not accepting her faults. She’s a poor sport. She disgusts me. It was a serious offense that she felt she was above and was entitled more second chances of blowing her probation. She’s a brat.

    As a former judge, her crime warrants a harsher sentence than for a typical individual. But, rather than acknowledge that, she is actually asking to be treated more leniently than a typical individual - yes, most individuals even on low level crimes such as this will find their careers destroyed. Whether that is right or not is one thing, but it is quite another for a former judge to expect to be treated better than others. Her lack of self-awareness is astonishing.

My dui was a big set back and made me reevaluate my life choices. For three years I had to deal with the courts and now it’s all over and I won’t make the same mistake again. If a judge can’t follow the rules like the rest of us I would hope she would be sentenced and stripped of her career for failing to comply.

    This woman did not inflict an ounce of harm on anyone. She did not cause any damage to any property, not even her own. She did not lie cheat or steal. Nor did she inflict financial harm or injury on anyone or any entity/institution. All she did was ignore a fictitious “order” from this kangaroo court.
    Prior to handing out the sentence, the bench judge was whining about how the defendant did not show enough “remorse” for her supposed violations of the law… the bench judge who delivered this absurd sentence should open up a dictionary and learn what the word “remorse” means. It is regret or guilt for a wrong committed. What “wrong” did the defendant commit? The primary definition of the word “wrong” (as a noun) is an INJURIOUS, UNFAIR, or UNJUST act, or an action/conduct INFLICTING HARM.
    No harm, no foul. The only “harm” committed here was that she didn’t follow the State’s orders, which got their panties in a bundle. Prosecuting attorney seems like a total weasel and pulled a fast one on her. He and the bench judge play a nice two-man game like the dishonorable public SERVANTS that they are.
    You people seem completely lost without any clue of how common law is supposed to operate in this country. That courthouse is functioning as a dry-docked admiralty vessel practicing maritime-admiralty law, which is the law of WATER, or COMMERCE… the judicial system in America was founded on common law principles which means no harm, no foul. To put this woman in jail for half a year simply because she didn’t show up for a meeting is patently absurd, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves for supporting the sentence. This comes straight from the Supreme Court: “The common law is the real law, the Supreme Law of the land, the codes, rules, regulations, policy and statutes are not the law.” Self v. Rhay, 61 Wn (2nd) 261.
    Now I see why the government, the courts, and all BAR attorneys consider the vast majority of the general public to be incompetent persons. If you commented on this video cheering on the half year jail sentence for a woman who inflicted no harm, you are one of those incompetent persons, and you need to wake up (sooner, rather than later). If you remain asleep, you are complicit in what is perhaps the largest scam in the history of human civilization.
    Wake up people...

And, how's this for over-arching on a position, in NYS the court doesn't have to take into account any time served outside of the time served while in jail or prison. Maybe if she took a step back, as a former judge she would have thought of that.
