Zubimendi is very different to Ugarte, Zubimendi likes to control the ball and pass out while Ugarte likes to tackle and defend, realistically Ugarte is the better option for Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno as it takes the defensive burden off of them and allows them to play more freely imo

Otherwise we have two conductors without the athletic abilities. Mainoo is athletic but zubimendi I have my doubts over, with ugarte his strong 6ft plus and got a good turn of pace. He’s what will enable mainoo to play better as he will sort out the defence.

Zubimendi is too Spanish to come to Man Utd, he’s a player raised and based entirely in the Spanish way of playing. The bash and rush of Man Utd would be too frantic. He would be a similar player to when Herrera was a Utd.
Ugarte is better suited, they need a strong tackling, high engine player. Mainoo and Bruno are already lightweight, the 3rd has to be strong and aggressive.

Zubimendi is a tidy player, should be priority. We paid 55 million for Mount and Zubimendi and Ugarte are so so so much better. Ugarte on a loan with obligation to buy or part payment now seems the only way.
Kobbie and Bruno will both need rested and McTominay, Mount, Casemiro all arent anywhere good enough to push United on. Sell Mount to whatever absolute mug decides to buy him.
