As an Orthopedic Technician the hand wrap process isn't much different except in boxing you come above the metacarpal heads. It is important to lay the tape/gauze on as opposed to pulling it along to allow for circulation. To check proper circulation pressure down on the person's nail bed. It should turn white then when you let go immediately return pink. This is an indication the wrap is not too tight.
the WBC WAR tape is incredible and one of the most overlooked products out there. it's not just WAR tape with a WBC logo. if you read the description on WAR's site, it's a special formula that, among other things, is formulated to come off of skin and hair painlessly... and as impossible as it sounds, it actually works. it's easy to rip at the serrated edges with your hands. like the original, it says in place basically forever. anyways, it would be awesome if the WBC made a video covering the specifics of "stacking" aka NSAC hand wrapping rules. Manny Robles did a pretty good job on showing the basics of California vs just about everywhere else in the world... but Nevada is confusing to me so I'd love to see it. Japan would be another cool place.
When you're a Professional Boxer at that level, your hands are worth alot of money. You can't afford to take shortcuts when it comes to protecting them.
How do they make these wraps so that you can cut them off and reuse them without them falling apart? I've never been able to figure it out... you can see Mayweather getting ready and putting them on here ruclips.net/video/pGDThslZ6Z4/видео.html
those are winning hand wraps theyre almost like gauze but are made out of cotton and theyre reusable . theyre the best because not to thick like the ever last wraps
War Tape always unrolls on me after training Empire is far better when it comes to that. I have gone through multiple boxes of wartape including the WBC branded one in this video. Not only that I live next to Sacramento where one of there offices is based so it's not like anything could have happened to it while it was shipping.

Do you think that’s an excessive amount of gauze on the knuckles?
Thank you. Also handwraps can be different in different states of the U.S
well duh
Robert explains very well👍🏾
The best wrapping video ever .

😂😂😂 clearly you don't know shit about boxing , Robert wasn't hes trainer when that happend
@@enriquesanchez5654 whoops! 😁😂
@@enriquesanchez5654 yup, it was Capetillo
Lol he wasn’t the trainer at the time
Lol, I just left this up to laugh
So when do you put the plaster in?
What kind of gauze is the knuckle pad made of?
do you wrap hands like that for 16 and 18ounce gloves or only for sparing
Solid 100
Is this is a commercial for WBC Tape
Will that even fit into a 16 oz glove?
Exactly, good question, that looks like a ton of padding to me
Of course it will ! Everything on video looks
Bigger then what it is
RGBA#1 100%
What brand of gauze is that for the knuckle pads?
Ambra Le Roy
Is that the 2” or the 4” for knuckle pads
@@damianjarell9299 4" folded over is preferred
Robert is official like a referee with a whistle
Good wrapping but I can’t box with numb hands jss my personal preference for me
Looks pure overkill

Anyone else here because of the Stephen Fulton and Inuoe press conference
Nice 80’s video.
I thought they just used regular medical tape...that shit is super tough and sticky!
The medical one is actually not allowed anymore because they are rubberized . The allowed ones cut off easily by hand .
RGBA💯
Huh gel pad just like he did with Margacheater but with plaster
Garcia wasn't his trainer when that happened

You tape along where you cut it so it doesn’t unravel

Over kill a little too much
A lot of power to the tape?!
very basic oldschool style. ganna try it.
what kind of bullshit is this 15min to wrap your hands? it only takes one second to get knocked out those wraps ain't going to save you!
they arent supposed to save you, they protect the fighter from breaking his hands
Said a nobody ever . He is a professional ! Stfu 🤫
Especially for training they invest 15 minutes and train for some hours I’m sure
