    Also for people who are digging into this further, there are good videos he's put up about suspension and also a locking diff. There is more than one way to skin a cat and he shows you this if you go back and watch the videos. You can even use the links for some of the parts. I know that most people are gonna balk at replacing the diff and doing suspension because they aren't adding to that coveted horse power number, but throwing two grand at the basic parts he has mentioned here, and then throwing another two grand at the right suspension and rear differential will still be under 5k, and you will have an all around amazing daily that you can enjoy year round. He explains about how to get the available horsepower to the wheels through the diff and suspension. But he's not just yapping for the sake of yapping. He trials, puts the video up for all to see, and is very honest about the results. If you have a 3.7 q50 then this channel is gold for you.

    I've got the 2014 q60, essentially just an upbadged g37 coupe for the later model years, and it has been the most enjoyable experience behind the wheel in a vehicle I have had yet. It is such a comfortable, yet alive car, and for the price, I don't think there is a better alternative with all factors considered for (reliability, comfort, performance, aftermarket support, looks). If it wasn't the go-to vehicle for Edgar to crash into a crowd of people at a takeover, I think it would be a more respected car, but hey, I prefer them to be slept on, as it means I can keep getting inexpensive parts haha. The G37/Q40 sedans & the Q50 are the true 4DSCs of Nissan. The Maxima should have been stripped of that moniker YEARS ago.
    As a 2013 G37x sedan owner, I think you are spot on with this video. Only gripe I really have is that there aren't as many performance parts for the AWD models as there are for the RWD!!

    Old guy here and loving my 15 Q50 stock other than wheels. I love the lines of the car and found a somewhat rare chestnut color that is awesome and I don't see many around - gray/silver, white and black are the norm.
    Daily driver I bought as lease return 1 owner in 2018 with 22K on it, and put over 100k on it so right around 125k now and no problems. Diligent maintenance, drivetrain oil changes, brakes, wheels, tires and washes keep her looking awesome.
    Not worth much on trade and no plans on ever selling it until the wheels fall of. I love your tuning tips and expertise on the car but nothing I need to enjoy the ride although I'll keep watching especially when you confirmed what I know on the Q50. Keep up the good work!

    Hay dood! I just bought a Q50 and in natural order I've become a bit of a fan of your channel. Couple questions for you. I have a 2014. I want to move some parts from the newest sport models. Front bumper, paddle shifters, seats, transmission, and maybe exhaust(havent heard one yet but i want an exhaust thats alittle more aggressive but not too much more aggressive). Are all these parts plug and play for my year? I know you said the trans needs some stuff in another video. Besides that is there anything that might keep me away from these part swaps? Also is there a model with cooled seats(not just heated) that would plug and play in my year?

      @@Xx3SPAZxX as for ventilated seats i’m not sure the implications of them, they exist in 23’ models but i doubt they would be plug and play

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  Месяц назад +1

      “Newest” sport model? Like 2023-2024? Then no. Paddles changed in 2018 to wheel mounted so yes you can install paddles but they have to be from 2017 or older. Front bumper from the 2014-2017 sports bolt right up but newer bumpers may take some tweaking to work but it definitely can be done. Dong even waste time swapping exhaust-there wouldn’t be any difference anyway. Best bet is to go custom or aftermarket based on what you’re going for. You can swap in sport seats but I’m not sure you’ll get every function-like if your car is not already equipped with heated/cooled seats.
      Thanks for checking in!

    Hey @speedculturestudios I just got a 2015 Q50 AWD w/ close too 80K miles im having issues with my key fob and im wondering if you can help me out .
    My key fob recently stopped working but occasionally opens my car and for some reason I have bette luck opening my trunk . I have to start the car by pushing the fob up close to the ignition button and manually open it VIA key , it’s quite annoying especially since it’s summer and very hot out . I’m hoping it’s a bad battery vs a bad key fob because I just got the car . Wondering if you have had this experience? Love you channel Btw and have been watching all your videos 👍🏽🤝🏽
