Wow, a thumbs down within the first 5 minutes of posting--that hurts lol! Despite having nearly 200 videos explaining each and every mod/part I've added to this car, I get regular questions about this part or that, so I hope everyone finds this video informative! Thanks for watching!
I was thinking about drilling some holes in the fake grill around the fog lights and making it like an actual vent. I noticed the way the car is designed and has the entire engine bay closed from underneath, the only air coming in is directly to the rad, which is good, but... I was thinking if there was air flowing through those ports it would hit the wheel well and be forced up because it cant go down being encased and physics lol So more air directly to intakes, cooling the bay and hopefully causing a bit of lift, forcing more pressure on the rear (driving) wheels. What do you think? Good, bad or ugly?
I thought about trying to use those for ducting for brake vents. I like seeing innovative ideas. Obviously they designed the car like that for a reason, but you’re theory makes sense. It would be difficult to ever measure it to know if it made a difference, but cool idea!
@@SpeedCultureStudios Well thank you. And yes in theory it sounds good. The only problem I can see is without anywhere for the air to go without fender vents is pressurization and drag. And yeah it would be hard to tell the difference lol.. but I'm sure that direct flow to cold air intakes would help. Stock intakes probably not so much but maybe the pressure would be a good thing in that case.. I guess there is only one way to know.. and thats to find out!
i'm thinking about buying some 19x10.5 wheels in rear and I want to use 275/30/19 or 285/30/19 that offset me recommend ? +35? or else? thank you and I'm a big fan of yours
Thank you! +35 might be ok. 10.5 is pretty wide in the rear if you’re not using adjustable camber arms. I had a 9.5 +35 in the rear lowered 1.5” and it was pretty flush with a 275 so you might get a little poke on stock arms

@@cesarpena702 it’s a custom setup so you can almost fit it on anything. Are you going single exit or you want dual exhaust? You would just want to take a measurement to see how much room you have to fit the borla muffler. There is a smaller alternative if you don’t have the space.

@@SpeedCultureStudios Yeah probably not... One question though. Do you find the auto transmission lags a bit before switching?
