This is something many Marvel
fans tend to forget about, since it's so weird.
On Namor's ankles, he has
little wings that help him fly.
And yes, they're being included
in the MCU version of the character

It’s not weird. Marvel has used many different “God powers” from different Mythologies. This power is like Hermes, the Greek God of speed. Which is just one example of this "power"
No it's not it's his mutant ability
@@EmperorDxD yes … I know. I’m just saying the people at Marvel are using the abilities from Gods of different mythologies, to create the “abilities” of the marvel characters.
@@seanmy3884 🤣😂
Lol! The short is weird. Like, wham bham splat tadah, finished short.

If Red Bull isn’t part of the film promotion that’ll be a missed opportunity
or goodyear
Maybe it’ll be one of the ads when you’re waiting for the movie to begin. Sadly, when I watched it the first time, it wasn’t there, it was a missed opportunity. I’m going to watch it again so hopefully, I get to see the ad.
It is a #women movie bro, redbull ment for men
@@abhinayreddy6178 Oh look, an incel. Nice.

Thought that brotha was floating
For real man, he thought he was breaking new ground
This is just obvious asf
Did you notice this in Captain America: Civil War... this is something any Marvel fans tend to forget about since it's so weird... but on Peter Parker's wrists, he has these bracelets that help him swing. And yes, there being included in the MCU version of the character.
What's weird in that? He is like that in the comics so they turned him in a good live action there is no surprises in there.
Its weird for those movie and mcu watchers only. Most Reactors on yt make me irritable because they hate that. So cringey
@@hisakoichiki3126 exactly, they just judge before knowing the story
I'm just surprised they actually included it. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy they did, and I think it's a good choice, but the MCU has a history of removing goofy visual details like little wings and such that look strangely placed. I'm glad they included it to accurately design the character as a good live-action adaptation.
The Submariner aka Prince Namor has Always had wings on his ankles. Not weird to Real Marvel Comics readers.
I actually completely forgot about him having them in the comics but yes you are right
Namor fucking suckssssss
How is that weird when it's comic book accurate
True.
It’s not weird for us comic book people we always knew
what I noticed was Namor converted from an Atlantean to a Mexican Chico.
Right and he shouldn't have been changed.
Namor’s mutant X-gene grants him the ankle wings and the ability to fly. Just one of many, many strange mutant powers.
Glad they kept it because it makes him more unique.
Helps him swim faster too
Namor also has the ability to command Dragon through attuma and tiger shark at his peak
He's the Submariner
But Isn't it Scientifically impossible...small wings can't support entire body...even at high flapping rates...
WOW
_Since it's so weird we FORGOT‽_
_WHOA, I didn't kno that I didn't notice one of the MANY THINGS that make Namor UNIQUE!_
Smh 🙄
Namor fuckin sucks
Fr his whole channel is captain obvious
For me namor looked totally badass mcu nicely pulled it off
I prefer classic Namor look with the short hair and flat top and widows peak hairline without a beard. This version looks good but he isnt classic John Buscema or Jack Kirby Namor.
But it is hard to see his face well here - so maybe it is closer to classic Namor than I can see.
True Marvel Fans know that Namor has flying fish wings in his ankle... "He can swim anywhere, breathe under water or fly to the air"...
He also has the power to control police
Love this reference
Oh Mr nimbus
Me nimbus😂
It’s not weird, he’s always had them in his comics.
Doesn’t make them any less weirder
@@SK-Pictures he's a mutant so yeah...weird is expected.
As a kid going up in the 60's that was the one of the many things i like about him, just like with Marine Boy and his Oxygum and jet propel boots
Marine Boy Was So Awesome.
Best Underwater Superhero Ever.
@@richardtracy8242 I also enjoyed Prince Planet, The Amazing Three.
I remember the Amazing Three were a Bunny, a Duck, and a Horse.
They were really Alien Superheroes.
@@richardtracy8242 Bat Fink, Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse.
What about Underdog? That was another Good One.
Loved those Cartoons.
And the phisics goes away
Did you noticed in man of steal that Superman has a cape…you see DC fans forget Superman has a cape
Not weird, freaking awesome!!
It’s not weird it’s just his mutation. He is a mutant in marvel lore for some that don’t know
Sry I'm not a comic fan but does narmor have big impact in xmen comics or something? Sinced he's a mutant
@@akc6230 He was a part of the X men in the Uncanny X-men. If memory serves which it probably doesn’t he becomes consistent around #528. He does have a few of his own runs and Fantastic Four crossovers. I know he tangles with Venom around 2007. I recommend The depths run which kind of has Black label vibes as well as the 1990.
Wow.Narmor, the King of Atlantis..I didn't know he was part of it...I saw him in the Ultimate Alliance game
Yeah except in the MCU I don't think it is Atlantis. Looks Aztec almost, I guess to avoid confusion with Aquaman and make it stand out more
@@jflamen Looks like you were right
It's not weird. That's Namor...He comes with fantstic abs, ankles wings, and huge...trident.
Ohhh.. Can i add u in my whats app GRP
A huge sea cucumber?
What kind of group?
@@Ghost7065 🤣😂🤣
@@rashida7777 dc and marvel posting updates grpm. Also avatar franchise
Namor is so powerful & they just replicated a character from him called Aquaman
Aquaman is the original.
Oh yeah in comics Namor character is 1939 but Aquaman 1941 who's original now?
@@ometh4274 First aquatic hero and First hero to fly.
@@charlies2359 k.thanks
If those little wings helps to fly then he must be light as a paper.
Real fans saw it a mile away smh😂😂😂😂😂😂
i bought his comic action figure 1 year ago cause i knew he was gonna appear now the same one is being sold for 100 usd lmao
I loved the rattlesnake sound his ankle wings made. Subtle, but really kickass
He's just like Aquaman from DC universe
probably no one know that is the Aquaman but they call him Submariner this way back in the 60 or 70
Yes we knew he could fly.
Marvel can bring weird looking things in MCU but couldn't bring Gorr's actual origin story properly.
I think every marvel fans knows that when you speak of Namor, the ankle wings are given. Duh it's his trademark. Maybe weird for non marvel fans only.
No Marvel fan has forgotten anything.
Which means Namor is the first mutant in the MCU.
Correction ms.marvel is bub.
@@mr.cloakofdagger3957 Kamala is an Inhuman.
Me in the movie seeing this: STOP FUCKING TRIPLE JUMPING
Every time Namor sees the wings on Cap's helmet he checks to see if his are still there...
Let's be honest, we all noticed that.
And he was badass with those ankle wings!
I think it's cool. It's a superhero film. I'm glad that they didn't get rid of it.
"IMPERIUS REX!" ❤
I wonder how strong that little wings to carry a big man like him 😂✌️
The qustions was asked in the 1940's while he was in the group the Invaders. He was holding up an aircrat I believe. The gist is ....how can bees fly with such small wings and a heavy body mass. And Namor can as well...
The wings are a mutation, making him a mutant... The FIRST mutant by technicallity
I use to have namor or sub mariner no.#1 when I was a kid and he had wings on his ankles, so it's no surprise to me and I'm 58 years old...
Prince Namor was the First Superhero to ever appear in a Marvel Comic.
Yes, I saw them in the birth scene. When I heard the rumours, I wondered how they were going to include it in the movie without it looking gimmicky. But from the trailer, it looks like they pulled it off beautifully. Can't wait for 11/11!
It’s not weird or an Easter egg. It’s basically the most iconic part of his appearance
Marvel fans: It's so weird that he has winged shoes.
Hermes: Y'all just hold up, I'm gonna call Zeus to check on you guys.
Yes I did, but I gotta say CGI Namor darting around like that in mid air kinda gives me Disney fairy vibes lol
Bah Disney fairies wish!
Doesn't bother me at all, i actually really love the way they made it so he was skating and his movements and agility were so sick
Include since the original comic in the 60s
Damn that's crazy the only thing about namor they got right. Damnnn
It annoys me how "marvel" fans are making fun of the wings. Guys..you are not real marvel fans!
oh 'fans' didn't forget, we were hoping for it..
It was obvious he had little wings on his feet.
Yes... We noticed.
No... We don't "tend to forget about it."
OH RIGHT mcu/marvel are introducing gods!
"Weird" is subjective...He is just one of many mutants with unique attributes. Namor has always had the winged ankles...
It looks so adorable
Tinkerbell wings god mode.
The wings help him maneuver faster in air he can fly without the wings like superman
Yes to fly a human kind body... It needs big wings wat we saw in vampire movies
If u notice on top of the huge words WAKANDA FOREVER it says "marvel studios black panther ' 🤯
Haha Submariner wings go _brrrrrrrrrr_
We don't forget about it
Wow you don’t say. Glad you pointed that out so all of us could see that very obvious and pronounced detail about the character.
I had always thought, as a kid, that those wings should've have been FINS... Being aquatic in NATURE, it would make more sense to help him SWIM faster.
I love it .
Fun fact: venom almost killed namor in a fight, ripping his wings off his ankles. Namor got the upper hand by returning the favor: ripping venoms tongue out and knocking him unconscious.
Namor is not only a hybrid he is also a mutant.
And in the comics, Namor is a mutant and thats the reason why he has wings on his ankles
No one has forgotten about this! He’s one of the oldest characters in marvel and has always had the wings you call weird. It ain’t anything new to people who have followed comics even a little. 😂
It might also come as a surprise that he is holding a weapon in his hands...
I always thought those little ankle wings were stupid. However, the MCU has surprised me with how it has treated some of the characters I despised in the comics.
Yes that was a reference to the Greek God Hermis. You know because Namor was an Atlantean and not an Aztec...
I remember Way back 1983 i saw this when I was a kid
I love how it looks like he's double jumping to the plane
Percy Jackson
Comic-ok
LA Movie- it looks goofy af.
Namor's so bad ass... if you haven't seen Jae Lee's work on the comic series you MUST.. his artwork is incredible.
Percy jackson
His character always had wings. Not that big. But wings nonetheless
Come on now they didn't have to add the little wings that just looks stupid now I understand they didn't quite know what they were doing when it came to physics and superheroes back in the day but we do know better now especially on film there's just some things that should stay in the comics and some things that are okay to come out and those little wings should stay in the comics
Oh shut up
In the movie they did specify those little wings
It's kind of hard to not notice a dude with wings on his feet bro
Those flying shoes with wings looks like in persie jackson movie
I never imagined that they flapped though. I thought they were more Like fins and he flew by his unknown mutant power alone. Pretty sure the wings are just for steering because they wouldn’t by able to lift his body or the tons of weight he’s able to carry.
Jimi Hendrix wrote Litte Wing. Look it up guys.
Its not weird. Dummies he is a god
Maybe he's a Flying Fish^^!
After watching thor love and thunder, i can expect anything from Marvel🤣🤣🤣
namor is marvels pissed off version of aquaman
Yeahhh .... Disney forgot " Namor the Sub-Mariner...
Did you also know that the black Panther wears a black Panther costume, also being included in the MCU version of the film
I thought those were jet engines...Gosh of course they added wings in his ankles but that doesnt justify the 99.9% differences of the MCU version, now those are super weird.
It looks so stupid. But so did fighting with tridents in Aquaman. But those trident fights turned out to be so good. I’m sure those ankle wings can do moves we aren’t expecting.
What's weird is that you thought it's weird. Namor is a mutant and that is his mutation branch making him able to fly.
Those are some tiny cute lil wings.
I wish batman has once
He got the power of hermes
We all noticed it and no one forgot about it 🤦🏾♂️
Im used to it, just logistically it doesn't make sense. Down force from the tiny wings would need to be massive to compensate for his size.
Namor in comic has it ...eventho it's stupid we are here for it .
Those wings still look silly. Hard to make them look cool
