Serious??,?, that is terrible. These guys were so far ahead of their time. I lived for "death".
and Lars Ulrich's still alive...😓
@@h_enrix_92 fuck off with that comment, idiot
@@h_enrix_92and you are still alive😢😢😢😢
I made an account just to be able to comment on this upload. It's easily the most profound upload I have ever seen due to many facts in my life, but I'll just say a couple.I was 16 when human came out and I played it so much that the tape snapped.I still have it layin around somewhere.Secondly,Death was is and still is my favorite metal band period.Back in the day,my friend's actually nicknamed me "deathdude"because of it.Thank you for this upload man.It means more to me than just simple words.
I completely understand your love for this band. I also played my cassette tape so much that I had to go buy the CD and a player to be able to listen to the CD.
I’ve been called deathdude too 🤣🤘
I’ll trade you my worn out cassette tape of this album for yours…this was an important album for me around that time as well. I get it.
I like "deathdude". I think it's a good nickname for Death fans. Very down to earth, just like tha band (and Chuck in particular)
Hell ya I just recently got Into Death. Human is easily my favorite album of theirs. I've been playing it all week, especially that God Of Thunder cover lol 🤘
10 yrs later Chuck died :( there is no one like him, and never will... That wonderful man was something special..anytime i watch videos of this band or Chuck videos ? i m getting sad, Chuck was huge inspiration in my life and always will..I was 15 when i heard Death first time...wow i was blown away, what an incredible music..now i m 44, and i m still faithful to this band and music he created
Bless. May the beauty always surpass the sorrow. The loss is still felt, yet also his presence. Much Love.
Chuck had such a unique and identifiable sound to his rhythm playing and leads. Not something many players can accomplish in a lifetime yet he accomplished this in less than a lifetime.
Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinert, Scot Carino and Chuck Shuldiner !! What else can we ask for!!
Well, Steve Digiorgio for one! ;)
Richard Christy, Shannon Hamm, and Steve Digiorio
@@maxdurk4624 Those three never played together except in Control Denied.
@@blppt I know? What difference does that make?
@@maxdurk4624 Well, he was commenting on a video where all four of the guys are rehearsing for Death.
Paul Masvidal just playing fusion lines in the background xD
Keegan Voci dream theatre on vitamin S
The Lisa Simpson of Death
chuck is the only guy i know that can pull off the short shorts and still be badass
jj gg Lemmy and the jean shorts he stole from daisy from dukes of hazzard
....and kitten t-shirts!!! Can't forget about the kitten t-shirts!!!
??? it was pretty normal during that era.
@@jorgequiroz1027 Yeah, and do you ever look at anybody wearing them and think "Wow, they're badass?" No. Just Chuck.
@@maxdurk4624 nope =/
This is, and always will be, the greatest metal band to me.
Gym Shorts Brutality.
Pink flowers approved.
RIP
Awesome footage! This is my favorite era and line up of Death. Their album Leprosy is amazing too. I appreciate all of Chuck and Deaths work though and wish he was still here with us making awesome music!
Those were real "shorts" .......CAN'T BELIEVE SEEING MY GODS REHEARSING LIKE HUMAN BEINGS
*Death Metal Screams* "He wears short shorts"
Hernan Gonzales thise shorts were 100% approved by another god....Lemmy
purplejesus28 or it was just really hot out
@@John-tg5vn If you ever lived in Florida, you will understand the shorts. If you ever rehearsed in one of these warehouses that they're in, you will have worn shorts like these and know. Coming from a swiss guy :)
Hazardeur I believe you
1:57 Sean Reinert LIKE A BOSS !! " all right guys, when I clap my F**KING STICKS together the noodling stops and we crush Together As One" click ... click ... BOOM
+torgo4ever isnt his name chris??
sure .. if you spell " chris " " S-E-A-N" , then yeah , his name is chris.
+torgo4ever I fd up haha
+torgo4ever Ha ha ha, when i read your comment I thought Sean would have said it for real!
@@jeanclaude1916you’re thinking of Chris Reifert!
Human is when I discovered Death. Amazing album. Thanks to Chuck and all involved.
Chuck was rockin the short shorts LIKE A BOSS 🤣🤘
Thank you for uploading this piece of metalhistory. Cant say how much it means to me to see that masterminds of Metal in Action. Absolutely great
Only Reinert can hit 3 crashes simultaneously in one millisecond.
Jesus Christ Sean Reinert!!!
Absolutely beautiful the machine that is Death. Love you can hear everything really well in this video! Even Scott Carino's bass! 🤘😡🤘
Immolation on the bass drum!!
Chuck the greatest ever!!
I was just about to ask if anyone saw that!!! Immolation is playing in LA in January 2022..31 years later !! 😳
@@justinscott4208 well, he meant "Immolation" as just a word.
Except that it is the Immolation band logo. I saw that as well and was curious. How did that all tye together? Were they associates? I know Immolation is from NY.
@@saltpeter7429 all i know is chuck kinda dissed them in that Paris interview and there was an interview with Ross And Rob in which they said chuck said some stuff about them, eventhough they got over it quickly
This took me out of the discouraged mindset I've been having lately. Amazing rehearsal, thank you for uploading
Thank you so much for this footage skulhed! This is amazing!
this IS the BEST Death lineup, EVER.
I met Chuck on this tour in Philly. Good old days!
Keep Metal Alive!
see chuck pets his dog is the most metal thing i ever seen
Death has written pages in history of metal music 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Spent a LARGE portion of my life in that damned warehouse in Kendall.... SIgh, ,the memories.
really? were you a friend of chucks or one of the guys?
More a receptacle.
The metal masters at work
Scott Carino!!! Nough said. The man is a fucking beast!
Thank you for the kind words Andreas!
@@alembicspawn you more than earned them, I believe.
What is it like to view such an archive as this rehearsal tape? Is their a lot of excess recorded material from this time?
@@saltpeter7429To the best of my knowledge, these three videos are the only footage of the four of us rehearsing. I think there may be at least one other filmed in the same location with Steve on bass.
Sean Reinert is a freaking monster! God!
He was a special drummer. Amazing. One of my top 5 ever.
paul is just fucking around yet you can hear his style in every note he plays
Amazing. Best lineup for sure.
The Control Denied lineup is undoubtedly the best
Richard Christy, former drummer of Death, used to live in a cargo shipping crate for years.
What a music , what a band..... All of them
PURE MAGIC!
The best line up ever
Paul is hilarious, lol. I used to fuck around like that at band rehearsal every time. Theres just something absurd about practicing and "rehearsing" to exhibit for people something that you just do because you love it.
pure gold
I really just want to see Sean haha. All guys are brilliant but fell in love with his sense of timing and overall chops.
Good old days!
Scott Carino might be the single-most underrated bass player in extreme metal.
Wow, that's quite a compliment........ I thank you!
This you, Scotty? If so, we're friends on FB! I'll send you a message and reveal myself, lol.
Skotie might be the single most underrated bass players regardless of genre. The guy can play anything!
You can really hear the musicianship difference when they play songs from Spiritual Healing
The dudes wearing running shorts. Shorts weren't as long back in the early nineties as they are today. I have some old board shorts that I wore all the time back then that I wouldn't be caught dead in now.
Great shorts chuck great shorts
BEST LINE UP EVER
OKAY.....see everyone, I knew someone would post this.......I have had this on DVD with other stuff (will not say what) and someone was begging for me to post what I have but....Beth his sister wanted to try and have this put on a DVD official release so I refused to show people my copies...now I see someone posted at least this from the collection so do not be mad at me Beth. I will say this I have their first or second show 12-30-1984 recorded from a boom box on cassette that I just put on cd. I miss my fellow KISS ARMY brother Chuck.
Yes you are exactly right, been there and done that and with the weather like it is in Florida. I Live in Georgia and thats why we always practiced at night, and trust me when that pa and monitors are on along with those amps it gets hot quick.
26Yrs ago.
That’s how you know chuck was on top of his shit when it came to the bands reputation. He wanted a clean sound live. You can see him checking on the bassist at 4:30 so he doesn’t make a mistake I would assume.
Lol, nope he nailed it.
I never would've guessed short shorts were metal. Clearly, I was wrong.
DAMN!!
Chuck is immense!
I heard that at the time he was very, very displeased with the bass in the final mix of the album. Maybe that has something to do with it, maybe not... but the remastered version of Human definitely does justice to the man. Fucking great basslines.
Did you mean Chuck was or the bassist?
@@LabiaLicker The bassist, Steve Di Giorgio. Thanks for replying 9 years later!!:)) Cheers
@@tiguilherman_plays apperntly scottie burns messed up the bassline, to the point that scott carino had to record some of them. and if you watch making of the individual thought pattern ( a canadian tv report on morrisound), where teresa roncon interviews scott burns and he jokes about how he deletes bass lines and steve di giorgio gets up and walks out))))))
Probably Scott Carino, who did the Human tours in the absence of Steve DiGiorgio.
Yup, that there was me.
love how they just fool around until they get right into together as one lol : )
BEST FORMATION OF DEATH, Paul MasVidal its a awesome and Di giorgio is a bass master
Sorry Patox93, that was me, Skot. To my knowledge Steve never played an Alembic but um, thanks?!
I thought you were just playing so damn fast and heavy the head fell off. Alembic? Hmmm.
Lol, given the cost of some basses I’m glad it didn’t fall off.
The Clash - Clampdown, amazing!

This is Fucking Priceless !!!! Gold :) thanks
almost exactly 10 years before his death
yep, shorts from back in the day.
epic!!
6:40, nice doggie, nice doggie. :-)
Satan himself rose from the depths of hell to watch them perform. He's actually the camera man.
@frindle8 Thru tapetrading, over a decade ago.
he was the only guy that could play in w/e clothes he wants, even naked. No1 would care cuz hes playing compensates for it.
Paul Masvidal from Cynic is there! great upload!. thanks a lot :) is that Sean Reinert on drums?
Yep
The drums in Living monstrosity are rough
scott carino
Fuck, This Is Awesome.
Are those EMG pickups in Chuck's Axtra Prophecy?

@nycbassist76 yeah i've been to the tampa area a couple times. Not that bad. Now, let me tell you a little something about Dallas, Texas ;)
incluso grabado con un pedazo de mierda y en una especie de garaje el sonido es genialismo
scott carino is the second best bass player o death!!
Thanks Spacemanbose! Very cool of you to say.

Headless guitars exist. The tuning pegs and the bridge are essentially the same piece with headless guitars

I think I enjoy watching practices more than shows.males me feel like I something in common because I did that with people too..Git as far we could without rich folks and gang..anyone only get so far without rich folks or gangs
yes
Buster loves metal!
Kendall represent!
Sorry to disappoint but it's not Steve in the footage. If I'm not mistaken he only recorded the album. Don't know if he actually got the opportunity (or the will) to play it live.
I don’t know either but damn, is he freaking handsome!
wow
02.20 is the best riff!
@skulhed good old days
Chuck looking like he just came from cross country practice
Those shorts!
@varockcity1 tape trading... those were the glory days... being a 90's kid sucks :/
A shame it's not 4K 144 fps
Why would anyone dislike?
Sataana kova!! Huh..
who is the bassplayer?
Skott Carino. I did all of the Human tour work.
Paul Masvidal :D!
