    Brilliant new product idea. Make chocolate fondue pots powered by old GPUs. 😂

    When I first saw the box of parts, I thought you were building a gravity bong, lol😉😃

    That would be a power issue. Check fuses with a multi meter.

    Only thing you need to change in a custom water loop is CPU and gpu block. Rads, pump/res/fittings can be reused.

    Some components like these make great wall hangings. I have motherboards, gpu and hard drives arranged in a diorama to show what was and now is. Great video, thanks, you have convinced me for sure water loops are not in my future builds.

    Sad to see them dead since i removed them in working kondition from my rig, the foulish smell in the ultrasonic cleaner could be tar residue since i´m a smoker

      @RandomBSOD 12 часов назад

      the cards probably arrived in good condition but due to shipping, the residual water leaked out and by plugging them right in without properly cleaning them was most likely what killed them.... 😑

      @Lexith2k12 11 часов назад +1

      @RandomBSOD there was no water in them, i opened the acetal side and dryed everything before shipping

    its according to you if the heat sinks are still good just pop on other graphic cards idk but thats wild

    I wonder if the sender should’ve separated the two cards before posting them, flexing could’ve caused damage to the cards in shipping. I know there was a piece of polystyrene placed between them but it may not have been enough.

    I need to get water blocks for my 2 Titan Xp's

    • @Lexith2k12
      @Lexith2k12 14 часов назад +1

      reach out to him, maybe you can get the waterblocks from the 1080ti´s, they should fit your cards since the titans are "reference" pcbs just like the inno3d ichill X4 cards that are unfortunately dead

  • @betag24cn
    @betag24cn 15 часов назад

    i would sell them sp someone trabsplant the good parts out of that pcb, gpu chip in particular

  • @danthompsett2894
    @danthompsett2894 7 часов назад

    the water blocks are worth something anyways so dont be to downhearted that those GTX1080 Ti's arent firing up, yeah i would go 240mm rad bare min for that GPU to be honest, and if your goner be doing this alot i would invest in some quick disconnects to make hooking up the graphics cards a bit easier. cause your biggest issue is the tube inner-outer isnt always the same. could be anything (8/6mm rarely used anymore), 10/8mm,13/10mm, 16/10mm,16/11mm, 19/13mm, and a bunch of odd viations like 16/14mm etc...

    A lot of water cooled stuff on my marketplace but in order to water cool it costs another 300 bucks so it isn't worth it

    hay did any one notice the ram chip was missing on one them cards ? doubt thats a power problem but heres what i think
    the seller sold doa and/or parts cards made them look good with the water cooler stuff by parts cars i mean chips caps resistors and other chips and fuses

    • @Lexith2k12
      @Lexith2k12 Час назад +1

      GTX 1080 ti cards share the same PCB with the Titan X cards but have 11GB of vram instead of 12 like the titans, thats why there is one chip missing.
      i sent him these cards free of charge along with 3 pounds of mozartkugeln as a gift
