The thing that blew/ scared me away is how the current main story dungeon design isn't restricted with blocky placement/design. one room in the dungeon has twisting pipes/ rebar or some kind of metal protrusion jetting out of it's walls, ceilings and floors. and it actually creeps me out. like some sort of other worldly freakery happened in there.
There are parts of it that repeat like it got duplicated in space, or show glimpses of inaccessible rooms with furniture on the ceiling. It's so freaky, the atmosphere is incredible

Molybdochalkos can be pronounced as /mol-ub-do-khal-kos/, with the /kh/ being a sound similar to the /h/ in Hanukkah. It means Lead-Copper, literally. Molydbos is Greek for Lead. Chalkos is an old term for copper or any copper-based alloy, like tin or bronze.
nobody pronounces it the greek way, /məˌlɪb.doʊˈtʃal.koʊs/ is how everyone says it.
I will try my best to nail down this pronunciation lmao
Those red and brown clay bricks from the treasure map are actually pretty rare, they can't be crafted in game (without mods). Lots of people would be pretty stoked to find that many of them 😂

As for that tunnel under the island, a laboratory below with a light house above sure sounded like a cool combo
Yeah I like the idea of climbing up the lighthouse, cranking up the render distance and just taking a look around the lake! :)

regarding the armor, I have a set of what I call "adventuring armor" i wear whenever I'm going further than where I can see my base from
it's just a tailored gambeson set (went with purple) and i don't go underground with it. if i'm going caving or have a spot prospected with some worthwhile ores i head back home and grab my scale mail
Very good way to do it! I should use my leather armour at home or just make a new set to strut around in at home!
My method is tailored gambeson for normal travel, chainmail if I'm going into a cave, and plate if I know for sure I'll be facing a lot of danger.
Minecrafters use this kinda recording style when it’s not actually necessary! When the grind in this is actuallly griiiiiindy! AF! So it’s necessary and that is why you make watching this game so fun! Don’t get me wrong I like the grind too!! But, seeing all this progress in one episode feels so rewarding!
I only caught up to yesterday, what a binge that was! Me and my 9year old love your stuff! Your flare to building is so good aswell!

The tunnel under the water should lead into your laboratory of sorts and you can use the ruined furniture in there too with the dark iron decor

molybdochalkos (Moe Lib Doe Chalk Us or possibly Moe Lib Doe Calc(as in Calculus) Ohs) really cost effective for lanturns and also the light color is nice
Where the Treasure HUnter was, you can talk to him and give hime a Tin bronze pickaxe. After that he will give you a special location to go. ;)

You should move your pit kilns and charcoal pit down to one of the rooms of the dungeon so they won't get rained on lol, but a fiery room would be kind of sweet to break up all the dark/dingy monotony
A room that's constantly crackling and shooting out sparks would match the vibe lol
@@TimmyTwoNipples I wonder if you can collect some of the lava you found in the last episode and add it to that room, not sure if there's a metal bucket in VS but tongs would probably be necessary too

19:36 goats are actually prety resistant to falling damage (unlike that rabbit early on). would be worth trying to guide them into a large fenced area soo you can farm them for meat and milk (place down a large trough and fill it with dry grass to feed them)
Maybe add a Frankenstein tower on the island if you are planning on making machines in there.
Yes! I'm gonna play with a few designs but I definitely want it to be the dark side of my base lol
Enjoying this series a lot! By the way, lanterns and oil lamps don't get put out by water so it's a good idea to carry one for your travels :p

For that room, I think a deep dungeon experimentation chamber and laboratory sounds so cool. Maybe even have a hidden door that leads to the more experimental stuff? Like it's location and what happens there wasn't meant to be found muahahaha

If possible, you could decorate your dungeon with the stuff you get from those underground rooms, might give it a more dungeony vibe, non the less, your build looks awesome!

You can build there few coke furnaces (you will need coke in future to get more complicated alloys)
