2 quick tips, your helmet was barely damaged because the game has locational damage and the head is least likely to get hit; and when it comes to making healing items I recommend making poultices, they heal more than the bandages and you make 4 per craft
I didn’t know you could get the iron door from furniture traders, that’s a great deal. You need it for the steelmaking furnace and it usually takes *12 iron ingots*
I cried when I saw how you gathered those fruit trees... 😭If you cut each segment from top down separately, you'll get a cutting from each one instead of just firewood. Also someone already mentioned you can leave the bottom and the tree will grow back
Here are 2 tips for the berry bushes. You can stack up to two current bushes on top of each other but not the cranberry and blueberry bushes. You can use shears on the bushes to remove the “bushy” leaves and make them perfectly square and if you don’t like the look they will return to normal next time you harvest.
@@Gamer-pk9up Yea, but to be fair, you could create a whole new wiki from the stuff that isn't on the wiki. Pretty sure, given time, that 1 tall currants grow 2 tall...
Gold and silver veins are sparsely scattered through the quartz veins that they're found in. I'd suggest using ore bombs or just clearing the whole vein to find all the ore, since gold and silver can be used to line a lantern to make it brighter.

Hello Timmy! Been loving your experience with the game so far! I have a tip regarding the fruit trees. If you break them by the trunk, they'll give less cuttings and more firewood. To really get the max of cuttings from them, break the branches on the fruit tree and work your way from top to base! Also suevite has a slight chance to give you diamonds! And it's cobblestone looks the right tone of grey, I love this stone because of it.
I don't know if you'll be reading this, but i have some important info regarding the fruit trees for you: I noticed that the tooltip said you could graft trees (which is to put a tree cutting on another, like putting a peach cutting on an apple or something). If this game follows real world logic then i recommend to graft the apple trees onto the pear trees (most apple orchards do this as well, because apple tree roots suck and pear tree roots are amazing).
I have to admit that I get a little anxious for a new TTN video! Hints for temporal storms below: Either have an arena to run around in that is big enough to avoid their melee attacks. Then you can chuck spears at the double headed drifters and others you want to loot. Or Build a pit for them to fall into with a hole at the bottom that is smaller than a full block that you can kill them through. If you have bottom slabs and a ceiling less than 2 blocks over the slabs, drifters shouldn't spawn there and you can still walk around.
I usually get them to chase me around the bear pit but now that there's a bunch of machinery it's more of an obstacle course lol I'll have to make a new arena! :)
Are you using fat or bees wax to seal your crocks for longer storage? Fruit press can be used to mash berries and make juice and different types of alcohol. The leftover mash can be put in troughs to fed pigs. Meat can also be used to make meat pies in the oven.
worth noting with berry bushes: you can actually propagate them, but it's not really documented. the currant bushes (red, white, *and* black) can occasionally grow new bushes atop themselves up to 2 blocks tall, and grow to adjacent grass-covered dirt cranberry and blueberry bushes (the shorter ones that don't fill a full block of space) can only spread to adjacent grass-covered dirt spreading sideways requires there not be any tall grass etc blocking it, and i think there *might* also be a constraint based on how many berry bushes of that type are already nearby - I'm not sure, as this system doesn't really have any documentation online or in the handbook, and I'm not confident in my ability to poke around in the game's code to figure it out. this has just been from my own findings looking at it in-game.
You should leave your offhand empty unless you really need the torch light, it makes you get hungry like 30% faster when you're holding something with it.
The second most impressive thing about your playthrough (after your beautiful buildings of course) is how much work you get done even though your inventory management is definetely lacking :D
@@unacceptable6625 Yeah I figured that's what I'd have to do. It's much like spawning in Minecraft, if you don't want specific mobs spawning you have to reach the mob cap for those mobs.
Fun fact: There's a rare event in the game known as the blue moon event which causes mobs that are normally friendly to become aggressive. You may want to lock those goats away somewhere safe! The event is really rare so you may not encounter it, but godspeed Timmy
I love how the winter prep keeps you constantly thinking about the survival aspect, you can thrive in the summer very easily but neglecting the prep has crept up on me a few times lol
You can make a smoker and produced jerky from that as well instead of wasting all food and use the fat to seal the crock pots and use the rest of it for more of the auto making hammer stuff
Some berry bush can be 2 tall. Have you looked at the fruit press ? Fruit trees you shown cutting the hole tree. Did you know you can simply cut a branch off to get cuttings ?
Yea, fruit press makes juice from all the different fruits! The leftovers can be fed to pigs in a trough. The juice can be made into wine that can be made into spirits that can be made into aqua vitae that can be made into bandages! Might have to start with something else for the aqua vitae, you can look it up in game! Yea, it's a hole...look at what the grains and honey can be used for too! I see a tavern in your future! I can't wait to see you try the various products!
I did not know that, I left quite a few trees in the valley/ lake area so I'll head back and get some cuttings in the spring! I saw you could juice the pears so I might look into that as well! :)

You should go back to the treasure hunter trader and talk to him, make sure you choose the option "do you know of any interesting places around here". Yep, all good tips! The odd ape gaming channel has a baby animal sieve to keep the generations separated. As long as you keep at least one Male alive, you can cull the other adults. If a baby grows into a male, cull the previous generation Male. I used to keep one Male corralled away from the food. Somehow, he could still perform his function without needing food! Every additional generation gets more tame! The tamer they get, the less they hurt you and easier it is to milk / gather eggs / harvest from them!
