Imagine making all these suspension tweaks without a lift and power tools. 🤔 On the other hand, Matt is gaining the Miata market share without buying a car. Win-win situation.
@@BK_BT Bryce, I'm thinking of getting the same spacers for my ND2, but I was thinking of getting 20~25mm at the front and 25mm at the rear with STOCK height suspension, what do you think? You think it will rub against the fenders?
I bought 3 couples of spacers. 15mm, 20mm and 25mm. At first i was thinking that 15mm in the front and 20mm on the rear would be enough. But watching this video i am seriously considering 20mm front and 25mm rear. The wheels look just in line with fenders and not out as i was thinking.
Those spacers look quality if you ever need custom spacers/adapters look into Motorsport Tech they make them in house hub centric and wheel centric like i needed 5 lug to 8 lug and ill have them in a couple days
I'd never heard of The Clean Garage until this comment, but it's obvious they are a complete knockoff of OG. Then to run ads on the videos of the business you're copying? Come on. When you copy another business, you're always playing catch up and it almost never works out in the end. What really surprises me is that Rupes, The Rag Company, P&S, etc... are working with them.
Before the spacers bake/seize onto the hub. Take them off. And apply anti sieze where the hub mates to the spacers. You will thank me when you want to remove the current spacer to the hub!!!
Awesome video, but can you guys clarify what you mean by "The final spacer width was 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear. If you want to be safe, run 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear". What do you mean by "be safe"?
Man I have to this without the lifter it's going to be a real pain with regards to the ride height settings :D Did you clock/re-index the bushings at the pivot points?
It look awesome ! I will buy one, it arrive next week, it’s on H&R coilover without spacer (it look like a trycile in the front 😭😂) Did you know the offset of the BBS wheels ? I think it’s 45 like the stock Mazda wheel I will have. Maybe I will swipe the wheel, these BBS are making the car looking way more serious
Question im running air suspension on my nd miata and i can get camber out of it , will 15 - 20 mm spacers bring it out close to flush or is it better 20-25 mm
Great video guys!!! I just lower my Nd with eibach sportline springs and now I absolutley need spacers. I have the 1.5 European ND with 16x6 1/2 wheels and 45mm offset. I am thinking of putting the 15mm spacers in front and the 20mm in the back just to be safe. The thing is that I have half inch narrower rims. Not sure how it would look compared to your ND. What do you guys think?
Too bad you don't like the word Mod. You could call the episodes when you work on employee's cars *Employee Mod Options" a play on traditional stock option benefits.
Corner balancing is unnecessary for cars that spend the majority of their time street driving. It's only worth it if you're chasing after shaving time on the track.
I've put just about every car I've ever owned and modified on scales. Modern cars are almost always balanced really well. As long as your heights are proper, it becomes an hour long process to get the car on scales to see how much it weighs. So I find it a waste of time.
We want to get a rough idea of the height of the car prior to driving it. Jump up and down on the door jambs a few times does the trick. A week or two later, there may need to be a bit more adjustment.
@@ObsessedGarage Are these the Flyin' Miata procedures? Also, I could have missed this: Did those coilovers come with any type of installed lubricant for the threaded sleeves?
@@ayodangit i bought 3 different couples of spacers. 15,20,25mm. As soon as i ll have time i ll install those. I ll try wichone i prefer. How do you feel your car with spacers? Did you installed all four 15mm? I am in doubt if 15 front and 20 rear. Or 20 front and 25 rear.
@@lucianolucidi8624 depends on the height of your car. The more slammed you are, the less negative you can go in front and more negative you’ll want in back due to camber.
You cant adjust them all equally because the weight of the car isn't perfectly distributed. You need to adjust each corner individually to the height you want.
Am i wrong about that? Cause that was my experience when i installed my coilovers. Making them all equal height didnt give me equal ride height all around...
"obsessed garage" and doesn't know about setting torque wrenches to "0" or lowest setting... 🤔 do they also know about tq wrench exercising for more accurate application of torque from the wrench? 🤔

GUYS GUYS please remove the spacers! Do you realize that your factor studs are extending past the spacer and your when is not sitting flush on the surface of the spacer?? The factory studs are longer than 15mm 20mm and 25mm which means that no matter what size you put on, your when are going to stick out further than the width of the spacer because the hub part of the wheel is hitting the ends of the factory studs before it even comes in contact with the spacer. You will have to cut your factory studs tho the width of the spacer aka cut them down to 15mm so they don’t protrude past the spacer.
Bought the 15mm & 20mm spacers. They improve the driving experience and looks. Couldn't be happier with the quality. You get what you pay for.
How do they improve the driving experience? I am thinking on getting them.

a trick: watch movies on Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching loads of movies these days.

An ad of the clean garage on a obsessed garage video its sacrilege.
I thought the same. Clean Garage doesn't have the Bucket Package and therefore lacks credibility.
It must be nice to sit back, wait for me to do it right, then copy it. Fake companies eventually go away.

The car looks amazing Bryce! Congrats to all of you for the effort!
Also, I'm jealous, can you duplicate it? 😆
so what did he mean by "losing the hub" by running 3mm spacers? I would think thinner spacers have fewer issues.
How does it handle with the 20mm spacers on the front and 25mm on the rear?

Can you get the Countergrams in a lower offset than 45 so that you wouldn’t need the spacers?
and... how does it drive?
Looking smart bryce. Good result there. Are you going to get a corner balance done?
I find that to be a waste of time.
@@ObsessedGarage I myself am not sure which side of the argument I fall on when it comes to corner balance.
Corner balancing is unnecessary for cars that spend the majority of their time street driving. It's only worth it if you're chasing after shaving time on the track.
@@Ohjustyoshi I thought that was the point in putting performance modifications onto the car. Are these just for looks alone?

Does the front wheel rub against wheel liners?
I have 15mm and Yokohama AD08RS 205 and it doesn't rub.
You need to roll the car forward and back to see where the suspension sits.
No you don’t.
