Really good ride! I hope Apocalypse sticks around for awhile. Every good amusement park needs at least one good wood coaster.

@@jordanwillcw4161 That's not a wooden coaster. It's a steel hybrid coaster. Its track is made completely of steel, meaning that it's a steel coaster.

Well, Apocalypse isn't that old (currently 15 years old) so, hopefully time is on it's side. It seems wood coasters age faster out west.
I rode this one today and as someone who isn’t a huge fan of rollercoasters, I can say this one was great
Also the inside was nice too

Next time you visit Magic Mountain, try riding Tatsu. From what I've heard, it's a very smooth, comfortable ride and other than the pretzel loop, it's not too intense.

Since the recent refurb this thing is almost as smooth as Twisted Colossus now. If you hated the ride because of its roughness then give it a try again. The retracking and new trains make for an awesome ride experience.
Apocalypse > ghostrider, even tho Apocalypse is smaller its still the best woodie in California for now

People this ride is amazing even though it's rough, it's pretty good. I would recommend riding in the evening It's loud, but I won't forget that moment when I couldn't even walk in a straight line after

The Apocalypse is a great ride. People say it rocks you around and it’s bumpy, but I say that for a wooden coaster it’s smooth. It’s fast and exciting, plus the theming is great. The best time to go on this ride is when the sun is going down, it’s beautiful. *8/10*

I rode it Spring 2013 and found it fun. I rode it again when I attended an event later that summer and left me with a headache for the rest of the night. I gave it another ride last year and again, square wheels, full body massage and spinal realignment :)

When I rode it summer 2013 I rode it in row 11, and that's where I was left with a throbbing headache for the rest of the night...only way to get rid of it was to sleep it off once I got back to my hotel.
