Went to Bub’s Cabin over Memorial Day weekend. He was there and had a BBQ picnic on the back porch. I think he said he is 89 and is a Veteran. Nicest guy ever.
Considering it was Memorial Day you would think it would have been wet, but it was mostly dry.
Can’t believe it was cold enough to have a diesel heater. It is 99 degrees here today. I also was there over MLK Jr day and the mud puddles were ice puddles and Carwash Falls was icicles which was cool. The next day we got 4 inches of snow. Did a little bit of 4wheeling on some easy trails.

Arkansas is full of weather phenomenons lol. We start taking our diesel heater in August because sometimes it will randomly dip below 60° at night. And I like something just to take the chill off. It was an amazing experience we love going there. That’s the first time we ever got to meet him and it was an absolute wonder to meet Bub. He is very friendly

Definitely some of the go to spots to explore in the ozarks. Bubs is really cool. Got to chat with him awhile back about the barn and other things about his place. Looked like a good trip!

I know!!! It was crazy looking! And a lot of the spots we knew where we were, but it was so hard to tell just by looking where we were.

Did y;all happen to map your trip?

No, we have already been to these places so we didn't track the route for this trip specifically. It was a pretty easy trip and was easy to navigate.
