I don’t really watch any tv. If I’m watching anything it’s usually RUclips. I scroll through a lot of different things from history to dirtbikes to guns to trucks to cars. I watch a lot of creators regularly. I gotta say your editing, your shots, and your narration is definitely one of the best on RUclips. Keeps me interested the entire way through.
Yeah, they definitely are top notch when it comes to the recording and editing side of things. Only thing im not a fan of is the music. But overall, loving this channel.
Love the look of your full size rig, not too many people out there willing to push themselves to try trails like that in a full size truck. Great video Shaun.
C'mon man! Full-sized American rigs are notoriously ineffective. The Gladi is about the largest remote-tour rig anyone should be bothered to run. The Jeep XJ or if you're zesty a Toyota #80series is about the largest rig to run on true explorations.
@@3wheelslifelonglivetheatc559 It is 4x4. It’s just that his front drive shaft had been damaged on a previous trip so he was waiting for it to be custom built.
Can't believe that the supplier of your lift didn't advise you of the need to upgrade your front driveshaft to accommodate the angles you would incur with the lift. A pickup with two-wheel drive is just a highway cruiser in my opinion. You did well with what you had, but it could have been a real pain it the butt.
Make sure you guys use barbless hooks if you're doing catch and release. Doesn't tear up the fish as much, it's also easy enough to bend or break off the barbs on pre-existing hooks so you don't need to buy new ones if you don't want to.
Awesome video as always Shaun. It’s so inspiring to see full size trucks going to this amazing place. Thanks for letting us ride along with you on your adventures.
Great video - that shelf road really makes me appreciate my 2dr wrangler, I think I woulda been down the road before dark - good job setting an example of staying positive and flexible when things don't go as planned.
I love Shawn's Videos. Nice 4Wheeling, epic selfshot pictures, great friends, great adventure. I watch Trailrecon and Ronny Dahl also, but Shawn has the most epic views. Love them.
Is anyone else interested in seeing more about the boat Teddy has on the roof ???!! CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h Ps; Shaun your editing shots and episodes keep getting better. And I LOVE THE FEATURE LENGTH VIDEO'S
hahah it's a 12 foot kayak. The Ascend 12t I bought it at my local bass pro to haul the dog and duck decoys. It's a bit of a barge. They say you can stand on it, and you can, but it's not very stable.... hope this helps! cheers.
Hahaha! I bought an Orvis fly fishing setup about three years ago. Now I'm completely hooked. I just got back from a five day solo fishing/camping trip up in the northern Sierras. It looks like Teddy has drank the Koolaide!
Congratulations on taking up flyfishing Shaun! Yeah you’re gonna catch every twig, branch and bush within 50’ of you but it will be worth it in the end with more practice! Hope to hang out with you guys soon and slay some trout! 🙌
Watched the Cinematic trailer yesterday on Unwinding roads, which was really well done. And the Full Feature Film today.. Good try fishing Shaun, Midge: caddisfly, or mayfly would have been a good choice for an alpine lake fly, and just allowing the line to drift, fly fishing is all about patience
I’ve got a Power Wagon that I’ve been slowly getting ready for more trails out here on the east coast. Seeing this thing going, even in 2wd gives me hope!
Power Wagon "out of the box" is already a brutal full-size machine. Except from tires there's barely anything that needs be changed imO. I had two, 2019 and a 2021 75th An., just tires and a little setup in the back and it's a great machine! Have fun with it!
Total down for the fly fishing & overlanding. I have been search for content exactly like this. Hope to see more of this content. Hope to see you out there.
great video, looks like a fun trip. The full-size RAM is surprisingly capable offroad. I've got a flatbed camper on mine, and I can get into many many interesting spots. The factory 4x4 is very capable, provided that you've got A/T tires -- and, ideally, 35s or larger.
There are times when the stuff you do triggers my Mom nerves...that steep shale road is another of those times. Thank goodness for lake fishing, Croc shots, and silly song lyrics. Happy trails and be safe!
Coming from somebody that’s gone up and down that trail many times it’s probably a good thing you turned around where you did the next switch back is so tight most vehicles need at least a three point turn on the edge of the cliff in loose shale
Just found your RUclips page today and haven’t stop watching you videos. Very well produced. Great music.. reminds me of my days wheeling around Arizona years ago. Keep,it up. Oh…. Never wheel in 2wd…
I take my full sized truck off road whenever I can, I love it! I also have 4x4 tho so that helps for those though spots! Love the videos!! Great trail!!
Not to be that guy....but I'm gonna....you ever file that chain? Smooth like butter is not exactly what that was, lol. Looks like a killer time. Keep up the great content
Hahah ya chain needs replacing or sharpening. Also needed a battery that wasn't dead. I thought I had the charger but I had moved it to the trailer. I appreciate the constructive ball busting lol cheers.
I love your truck. Its exactly what i would like for my next set up. Debating though on an actual camper like that or just a shell because we mostly ground tent, but a good rig is a must.
Hope there’s a lot more of that full size content coming. Finally pull out the fishing gear! Almost every time I see one of your vids I’m wondering, how are they not fishing that?
Really digging the full size content. Nice work all around. I mostly make videos adventuring in my full size Cummins that I've built out for Overlanding as well. If you ever get bored - I'd love any feedback you'd be willing to share on my videos. Still trying to make this whole RUclips thing work. Love the content, keep up the good work!
Attempting Low Range with only 2wd places severe load on the drive axle. Usually this massive Low Range torque multiplication is spread over both axles and driveshafts. The risk is that with such a heavy vehicle, you may shear an axle or twist a driveshaft. Nice location though. Thanks, Frank
I’m really wanting to try some overlanding because of watching your videos. Definitely couldn’t get my wife’s jeep on anything too serious just due to ground clearance lol
Oi irmão sei que você não vai entender. Mas se traduzir vou ficar muito feliz. Sou brasileiro.grande fam do seu conteúdo aqui no RUclips. Um grande abraço 🫂 Boas aventuras para voce
Bro love your channel, love the style. I live the same way. But I’ll be damned if that was “pushing it to the limits” lol. That was stock friendly and you know it, there was a stock truck at the lake 😂
Impressive! Watching you push your full-size overland vehicle to its limits was thrilling. The performance and capabilities you showcased are incredible. Thanks for sharing this high-adrenaline adventure with us! 🚙💨💪
Love the video as always but you are using that rod incorrectly. a casting reel would work great on open water, save the fly reel for streams... but that's just a suggestion since fun was had and fish were caught!! whatever works. I can't get enough of that Big Rig!!
Man that's wild you guys explored up around that area. I worked for years up at the Cathedral Lakes Lodge which is right in the park there. Just an incredible place 👍 killer video
You should start learning how to hike and hike a good distance! Driving to these cool locations is one thing, but if something happens and you are out of shape you can’t walk out etc etc! Just a suggestion
Hi Shaun! Loving the Full Size content! Sad to see your truck on the struggle bus with no front DS... I asked you before, but don't think I got an answer... How much does your truck weigh? I am out in a Full Size Dodge as well... but it's a 2007... Great job on the video, really looks peaceful and serene up there! I'll make it up that way next year.
Hahaha that’s hilarious, me and the wife just took our taco up there on Saturday, came down the other side to the summerland Princeton rd, hit me up next time your around I’ll tag along haha
You guys are awesome. Love the adventures. Question now, what happened to the four-wheel drive in your brand new truck? I don't remember seeing it in a previous episodes.
Hey Shawn You're probably tired of reading this. I was unsubscribed again. Seems youtube is trying to screw over content makers. The very people that allow them to exist.. well anyway, the comments help gain ground. Keep up the great work!!!
so yes a chevy equinox could do that trail and it cost 16k. and could have a roof top tent. in 2wd also. maybe i need a overland channel with a 2wd equinox??

Proof that 4x4 is vital for a lot of off roading.
Yea and why build a truck like that if it's not 4x4 makes no sense

Teddy’s a natural. He’ll get hooked on fishing for sure. Hope you catch your first one!

I have been to a couple of areas recently that require barbless hooks only..
TrailBnB is aptly named - love seeing the full sized (and 2WD) content. Overlanding is for everyone! LOL
Nice to see Teddy there
Thanks buddy!
The Shaun and Teddy duo videos are the best. Thanks!
Agreed
Always good to see another full size truck on the trails, you are a true adventurer - great vid Shaun.
Teddy + Shaun fishing is a recipe for a good time.
Awesome video as always Shaun. It’s so inspiring to see full size trucks going to this amazing place. Thanks for letting us ride along with you on your adventures.
Anything is possible with a bit of skill and patience........
Thanks for the share 🤙👍
Great video - that shelf road really makes me appreciate my 2dr wrangler, I think I woulda been down the road before dark - good job setting an example of staying positive and flexible when things don't go as planned.
❤Thanks For The Ride !!👍
Shaun thats kinda fly fishing but not I love it when you and Teddy go out and rough it. You two always make me laugh.
I love taking my Rebel through the Mountains here in Colorado. Did not realize pages like this existed!!
THAT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD TIME, THATS WHY MY CAP LOCKS ARE ON
The songs are hilarious 😆😆
I love Shawn's Videos. Nice 4Wheeling, epic selfshot pictures, great friends, great adventure.
I watch Trailrecon and Ronny Dahl also, but Shawn has the most epic views.
Love them.
ROCKING that Tilley, Shaun 😂 love it man. Love the TrailBNB so much. Your channel gets me stoked every time.
Pushed the Dodge to the limit😮😳💯👍 Holy Moly with no 4wheel....EPIC‼️
For a moment, I thought u might slide down😳
A thriller👋💯
Absolutely about time fly fishing shows up, you’ve made me twice as happy !! Thanks again !!

Fully lol
Not gonna lie, I love the ram more than any of your other rigs.
Literally my favourite spot to go! There are some epic places to go behind Summerland.
Congratulations on taking up flyfishing Shaun! Yeah you’re gonna catch every twig, branch and bush within 50’ of you but it will be worth it in the end with more practice! Hope to hang out with you guys soon and slay some trout! 🙌

$250k+ worth of overland rigs. Travis in his pink Sierra 2500HD - “hold my beer” 😂😂😂. Another great video buddy!!
😂 Yeah we found out when we got there that’s there’s 3 other smooth roads in lol

Imagine if the 4x4 drive had been functional, the outcome of the adventure would have been quite different, yet still entertaining. 👍
❤ I'm definitely buying the soundtrack after hearing that fishing song!
Cool to see you guys driving trails that I’m on all the time in a much smaller rig. Glad to see you enjoyed the Okanagan-Similkameen🤙
I take my full sized truck off road whenever I can, I love it! I also have 4x4 tho so that helps for those though spots! Love the videos!! Great trail!!
Sweet video! Was nice to finally meet you and all the Canadians at overland EXPO PNW just recently! Keep up the videos!
I like the "Road Deactivated" sign. Here in the States, if we are lucky, they just convert the road to a trail, but oftentimes, they close it 😢
enjoyed all the 2x drama, that vehicle is a beast!

Good times! I tried to convince Teddy that he needs to make a cross-continent trip to the east coast, but I don't think that I was very convincing.

If your ever on the island I’ll gladly give you some flyfishing pointers!
LMFAOO the custom NFL sounding track at the end is GOLD!
If you get genuine polarized glasses, you'll be able to see the fish in the water. Polarized glasses will cut the glare of the sunlight off the water.
Love it . Fly fishing is an art it will take some time.
It was definitely the Crocs that kept the fish away! 🤣
