I had heard the Bangles songs but never had the opportunity to see them perform . They are not only beautiful and vibrant but very talented . I’ve enjoyed catching up on their songs and seeing them perform . Very entertaining
All four can play instruments well, all four can be the lead singer and all four are good looking too. LOVE THIS BAND. Another thing about all four of them, in the early eighties they were all still very young and awkward looking, but surprisingly, all four became good looking at the same time?? Just love them, especially Vicki.
RUclips is great for comparing earlier and later years. Susan and Vicki's appearance was shocking to me when I first saw videos of The Bangs (pre Bangles). Susan's short hair gave her more of a tomboy look. Vicki's dress, dark hair, weight, and twitchy stage presence definitely needed a makeover. I am a rock fan first, so have liked Michael's look throughout. My guess is she fought the sexual glamorous look the most when it was forced upon the group in the mid 80s.
Vicki, talented guitarist , harmonies are great & always very cool vibe too ! Plus always easy on the eyes here, one of the first to rock a pink 6 string too !
The bangles Ep and all over the place debut album are both epic, everything is a good album and different light made them famous but wasn't their best , They were also awesome live.....
The Bangles in live concerts are totally different beasts than on videos, or TV shows that forced them to lip sync for accoustic reasons. Check out the concert at "Syria Mosque Pittsburgh 1986" or "Return to Bangleonia 2000" at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. I don't know if the complete concerts are on RUclips, but both are on Netflix. There you can see the young Bangles at their peak in the first, and the mature, post-mommy, reunited Bangles in the second. Both are absolutely excellent. Highly recommended. Nothing like the Bangles live.
The bangls excelente interpretación mis felicitaciones son un excelente grupo musical son excelentes personas mis felicitaciones que Dios las bendiga siempre son personas maravillosas.
Fanboys are in Susie heaven haha...😂 the dudes are all hypnotized...make room for me ! To be as close as they ever will be to Ms. Hoffs & the lovely rockin ladies !
I've never really heard Let It Go, what a great song, and so typical of their sound, the twangy, driving guitars and solid insistent beat holding it together as the vocals fly and weave around each other. Should have found a bigger audience.
Yes, wished Let it go had hit the charts too ! Different Light had a few great tracks for sure !Bought the album in 86 & liked it as much as Manic ..it really showcased their 4 part harmonies too !
Actually hate the filming done here. You get the camera in the face of Susanna Hoffs. You get a number of shots of Vicki Peterson. You get maybe three shots of Debbie Peterson on the drums - and you get almost zero shots of Michael Steele. For a four person band, they sure forgot about half of it in this video.
I've honestly been a fan of the bangles because of Micki. If it weren't for her very beautiful face and big, amazing voice, I wouldn't be here and I was disappointed. I got nothing from waiting for her here. No Michael on the camera. Just a few seconds and was even side view. I will not watch this video again.
Yes you're completely right, looks like this is a very small venue, the guys in the front rower right practically looking up Susanna's dress, I would bet there's not much room for the camera Personnel to move around, no excuse of course but the sound quality tells me that this is a bad copy or that it was a low-quality film and sound crew to start with. And let's be honest, Susanna Hoffs was always the real iCandy in the group nothing against Vicki and Debbie or Michael they're all good-looking ladies, and Vickie had some great legs when she showed them
It is said that the famous "side glance" was born of a technique to overcome certain stage fright that Susanna suffered when younger, by focusing on two or three fixed points, either cameras or people in the front (a technique often taught to those that have a fear of speaking in public). In their video of "Walk Like an Egyptian", filmed in front of an audience, she used it at the end during her lasts lines of lyrics, not knowing that the director was filming a closeup of her face. And the "side glance" was born. And a normally shy and stage frightened young lady becomes the "eternal crush" of thousands of young men.
I know most men like Susanna but l always had it for Michael Steele. I always thought she also had the better voice of the band. In this video Susanna looks like Gene Simmons of KISS!!! BUT without the makeup!!!
@@chiefinspectorclue-so7433 I actually liked the bangles because of Micki and I liked the way she sang as the backup singer. And her face- I was absolutely stunned! She looks like a mannequin and a doll. I could and would see a lot of Hoffs' face anywhere but would rarely see a beautiful face like Micki. Her beauty is one-of-a-kind. I have seen a lot of women these days with a duplicate of Micki's hair dye and hairstyle but they don't look like her and they will never look like her. Even when she gets old, she still looks beautiful. She is still the prettiest. Hoffs looks dry and her eyes have changed but Micki is still micki. Though getting on a bit, (all of them are) but still, she looks amazing and the most beautiful! check out their video in 2003. See for yourself.
@@lanalane6838 I understand what you are saying. I am not going to say any thing bad about any of them. To me Susanna is the prettiest and I know that her singing is excellent. There is nothing that anyone could say to change my mind on that.
the cameraman is a total worn slipper, he didn't take a single decent close-up of micki, he doesn't have to like her. But she was by far the best musician of all and for me also the most beautiful, that's just also subjective.
There sound is so much better during this performance. Better than 1985 performance on this show. Never understood why they never got a woman to play keyboards. More appropriate if you trying to do the all female thing. Unless the guy was a Big Queen!!! LOL.
God the Hoff had a feeble voice and her seductive side glances don’t work on stage when you’re under real scrutiny on a show like The Tube. We barely get a glance of Micki Steele the only real musical talent in the band.
Her famous "side glances" were born out a necessity of overcoming stage fright, something shared by such greats as Barbra Streisand. "Feeble voice"? I respectfully disagree. Check out her rendition of "The Look of Love" by Burt Bacharach for the first Austin Powers movie. It's on RUclips. In my opinion it's absolutely beautiful. Not everybody has to scream on stage like American Idol contestants.
Can definitely tell this is live and not a lip synched version of their studio singles. Well done, ladies!
One reason is they are singing really close to the mikes.
Gosh their harmonies are just gorgeous they really pluck the heart strings.
Those harmonies are awesome ...
I had heard the Bangles songs but never had the opportunity to see them perform . They are not only beautiful and vibrant but very talented . I’ve enjoyed catching up on their songs and seeing them perform . Very entertaining
The Bangles in their most successful moment in the late eighties, a great live act !

Love this video. Susanna has the most expressive eyes! We were all young, once!!
let it go !!! my favourite, hey Vicky !
cheers Nic
Vicki my favourite member of the bangles too

The Bangles en vivo!!!!! Que magnetismo, que seducción y que potencia tienen las cuatro juntas.
Catas bien estás hermosa Los 4
Vamos estar juntos para siempre te amo

Another pop classic from prince's out tray.... super band from a great period for music.
They are playing live...now that is Kool...

Love u bangles
Michael Steele is very beautiful! The prettiest and I like her big voice! Her face is a masterpiece of a great artist and God's creation.
Ultimate beautiful susanna. Michael again. Always thinking about you. All the time. My only crush in my life. No one else. Period
One of my favorite rockers
Oh to be in the 80's again
Great Music Bangle-Concert!! Greatest BANGLES Gurls!!!
The bangls excelente interpretación mis felicitaciones son un excelente grupo musical son excelentes personas mis felicitaciones que Dios las bendiga siempre son personas maravillosas.
THE BANGLES POR SIEMPRE !!!
&hb.
COMPLAINT! Michael was singing and playing too. She did not get any video time.
And OMG can they sing and play.
Looks as if Susanna Hoffs was easily the main attraction on this night lol.
Notice all the dudes gathered right in front of Susanna. They all are looking up at her like lost puppies.
....and can you blame them??
I’d of been in front of Micki lol.
That would probably be me if I was there lol
Fanboys are in Susie heaven haha...😂 the dudes are all hypnotized...make room for me ! To be as close as they ever will be to Ms. Hoffs & the lovely rockin ladies !
Sounds to me like someone has been turning their amps up after the sound check
Buenísimo!!!!!
Susanna ouch, you just cracked my coconut!
You can tell, even this early on, that it bothered Susanna to sing that 'make some noise' line.
目がきれい😍だなあ

Far better than the Spice Girls of Girls Aloud on reflection, because they could play instruments, it's that easy to decide.
The Bangles definitely blew them all out of the water when it came to musical talent! One of the best all girl bands ever , knew how to rock !
I thought Spice Girls were Bangles want to bees.
Ehi man....it's an insult for the Bangles to say to them that they're better than Spice Girls ....... don't try even to compaire
Just called talent.
geniales las bangles, contundente version de Let it go,lastima el publico,un frio en el pecho tienen estos ingleses...

Susanna and a rickenbacker very cool
Signature guitar for a signature babe !
Could those dudes get any closer to the stage????? That had to be uncomfortable to have them right there.
LoL. I was thinking the same thing. LoL. Like back the fuck up!!!
I was so close to The Beach Boys that Al Jardine stuck the Mic in my face and I sang part of the chorus of Help me Rhonda.
Du très bon Prince !
Susanita.la que era la mujer de mi vida.platonicamente.no se palteaba al momento de usar sus atuendos.buena muchachita.hasta donde see.
Best live all girl band ever Spice girls were pathetic & girls aloud even worse these girls could really play & sing xxx
Ya mayoria de público masculino al frente viendo a susanna
#BANGLESFORHOF
ヴォーカルとベースの女性が魅力的すぎ
ese tipo está muy cerca es un poco peligroso
Susanna can't help but do the "sideway" glance because of the people esp. men staring at her like they're about to eat her.
