Game developers don’t have complete autonomy over how the game is designed. They are still constrained by timelines, budgets, and the whims of their superiors
I was so disappointed with the level of interactivity in this game. One of the core elements of the game, the Room of Requirement, is designed to be able to customize however you want. However, whats the point of being able to place things like chairs when you can't even sit in them. The fact that you have almost no level of interactivity with things in the Room of Requirement makes the whole room pointless. The only point of it is to brew potions, identify your gear, and care for your beasts, which, if thats all the room is for, makes it kinda ridiculous to even use the Room as a gameplay element. At that point just let us brew from the menu or something. You get a handful of things you can interact with, you can spin globes and pet cats, but you cant sit down? I could go on and on about things you should be able you do in an RPG game in 2023. How about the fact that you only go to classes maybe twice? some of them only once. This is not a Harry Potter RPG, Its a game set in Hogwarts where you complete objectives and solve puzzles to open chests.
Lol, I'm all for adding more, but acting like the room of requirement was pointless is a pretty funny take. My wife and daughters love decorating the room and caring for the creatures. The room of requirement is much more of a home base than the house common room, which really is basically pointless once you've explored it. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to see sitting and some more interactions with the environment and items in the room.
I agree, I wanted my MC to have a bedroom. I mean, I know we're supposed to be a student and we're supposed to sleep in our dormitories, but come on, if the Room of Requirement is supposed to be our "house," then let our MC "rest" there.
I know there is a RoR enhancement mod, but it feels like cheating. Is there a mod that only allow to place conjured object anywhere? Like removing the box placement?
No usually the devs leave interfaces with which the modders can work. Modding is OK. People just add up to the game and keep it alive longer. Nobody hates nobody, its legal and there is nothing under the table.
yes upgrade to ps5 just costs an arm and a leg. then in 3 years upgrade to a ps6 that just cost your liver and spleen and probably a kidney. No thanks i keep playing ALL games that come out on my PC. Very High Ends PC can play anything. Thats what, CAN YOU RUN IT! say that is.
ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS? I've noticed that the world map in HL is extremely small. Long and really narrow. Like a big ditch! You take the map and put it into a square, you'd lose it in Skyrim even, which is the smaller map compared to todays RPG's! Not much to it. And I noticed it's severely lacking in content. Cannot believe it took 6 years to make Hogwarts. I definitely don't see 6yrs worth. Maybe a year tops, it's just so small. Almost like an open world N64 game.
Wow. The videos looks usefull by what i saw. But dude, i am so tires this week, by insomnia that i sleept whatching on pause from work. Gona whatch again. Lol. I need to sleep earlyer tonight Edit: nice video
Check out Star Trek Timelines right now: smart.link/lgty8cnikzlh0
baffles me why its so easy for the modders to add all this cool stuff but the actual devs did not
its easier for me to hang a picture frame in my house, compared to building the house

too busy making the base game. time restraints.
The companion mods revealed that the NPCs have dialog when partied, so perhaps it was cut from release.
I use the companion mod so I can have Professor Garlick by my side 24/7.
Hear me out….. NPCs ChatGPT dialogue mod
It looks like all roads lead to hogsmeade

Any quidditch? Or is that too much to ask? lol
Ugh, I know! I'm not big into Quidditch myself, but it needed to be an optional side quest.
"Could you recreate the mod that allows us to attack anyone in the game, like in GTA?"
I know there is a RoR enhancement mod, but it feels like cheating. Is there a mod that only allow to place conjured object anywhere? Like removing the box placement?
there's a mod called remove placement restriction so i guess that's what you want
I'm new to owning a pc. Do devs hate mods? And are they legal or are they just under the table businesses?
