Got an old VAIO Laptop that has served me well. Suddenly got stuck in the reboot loop going from restore to turn off. Tried all the suggested stuff including taking the battery out etc but nothing worked. This did. Took me right back to the original factory settings and Windows 7 instead of Windows 10 that I had stupidly updated to. Had to do a raft of additions but at least I was working again much to the upset of my 20 year old son who just said "Get a new one dad". If you post a charity that you like I will do a donation for the help.

Would you know what to do, if it says “failed to copy files”? I’m currently having issues with a black display, I can get to the vaio rescue screen, it will load then give me “failed to copy folder” error then I’ll press ok and resets and the problem is still there

my vio is lagging n hanging up a lot.. i dont know if its hard drive problem or insuficient Ram .. so this restoration will help me ??
I open my laptop i press the f10 button but when the loading bar apears it stucks there it doesnt open the menu to choose the format

If hitting f10 doesn't work, as some comments have suggested, hit alt + f10 simultaneously.
