Hey great review now I know where to fit the poles. I don’t know if my model is newer version but a use for those elastic straps where you hung the bear whistle. I fitted my pack with a 2.5 litre osprey hydrapak and those elastic straps are great for securing the waterline. Again not sure if mine is a newer version but I have two elastics (one lower down on the shoulder strap) on each strap and again are perfect for the waterline and I had no issues fitting the bladder. Also, I have an iPhone 11 and it fits perfectly in that waist pocket. Perhaps osprey have modified the Talon 11. Thanks again for this review.

Hi, my torso length is 19" and I am at a conundrum whether to get S/M or M/L as 19" seem to fit both. I prefer a smaller pack to reduce bulkiness, but my main concern is whether the hip belt will be too high on the S/M. Which size would you recommend?
Informative review 👍 I need a Talon 11 in my life.. *mission accepted* !!! Liked & Subscribed, dutifully. 😜 *Bought my Talon 11 yesterday, looking forward to the streamlined design for MTB, Urban wandering, Day-trips
My experience is that I cannot fit my climbing helmet on the helmet holder, only my biking helmet, because the holes are too small on the climbing helmet to allow the holder to go through. I can attach my climbing helmet to any of the loops, so it is not a big deal, just a small correction. I love Osprey packs! I don't think any other manufacturers have so comfortable and functional bags than Osprey.
I bought the Talon 11 pack and truly love it. However, it is very disappointing that they have covered so many great features in this pack and make it very difficult to get a bladder into the pack. One big error in an otherwise outstanding pack. It is extremely comfortable and the final clincher for me to shell out the bucks.

The rubber loops on the shoulder straps are perfect for routing a hydration bladder hose through.
Very helpful video
I just got a Talon II is there a video that can watch on the correct placement of the hydration bladder?
Thanks
Very helpful. I’m 5’10” and the SM is a good fit for me. I didn’t know the chest strap was vertically adjustable until I watched this video. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Now I know for what all the features are good for, thank you!
No problem! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed.
Does the Talon 11 accept a full 3.0 liter hydration reservoir, or does it instead use Osprey's slightly-smaller 2.5 liter reservoir?

I can fit my climbing helmet - so no small correction needed.
Well presented, thanks.
COOL!

Fair enough! It is meant to be more of an active pack so it probably should be easy to get a bladder in.
