Nice review! What I loved the most is after you put it on your back, you swung it off one shoulder and let it lay horizontal against your chest to show the side zipper access. That was awesome! We can't wait to get these soon to make our Rocky Mountain hikes more efficient...
Thorough and honest, I am using a old pack by mammut Trion light 38L with no side pocket for water. I think it's time for me to get a new pack., Stratos looks versatile. thanks
I was between this and Lowe Alpine. I tested both from friends and went for the Lowe Alpine, much more comfortable and not to many straps hanging around while walking. Nice review though!!!

The front zip pocket is very useful to put a jacket for quick grab, maps or a towel. Strange you didn't figure it out.
