Good job on Ron's trains and things on u tube he shows u how to make a fire out of led lights. To hide the lights behind very small tights' and looks like a real fire with the lights you my want to try this out.
wow that's a fantastic conversion into a pub!!! and the detail with the bar and chairs and pictures inside, and the finish of the pub on the outside, is nothing short of amazing !! all it needs is a little Tony and a little Dave ! ..I think its a fantastic job Tony all the best dave
Thanks Dave your right it does need a little tony and dave. the conversion took a full day to build because you have work it out from scratch, how the pieces would fit and make up new bits and still use the existing kit. and the finished results does show. I was inspired after seeing your fox and hounds pub. and that's when I came up with the idea. use an existing kit to build a pub........... I think I will have a pint of speckled now cheer's Tony
Cheer's Peter yes its coming together now. the trouble with the pub the doors are glued shut silly me carn't get in to have that pint.. lol...thanks again Tony
Are you reading my mind, Tony? It seems that I have only got to start thinking about a project for you to come up with the answer! Once again, thanks for sharing your ideas. All the best, Ken
Hi KEN I don't think im reading your mate its just we think alike, Im sure most railway modelers are thinking in the same way. finding ways to build things or adapt kits its just in our nature I guess. thanks again all the best Tony
Hi Tony, I’ve watched a number of your videos and am amazed at your modelling skills and creativity. I am just beginning to make models and used some the Metcalfe models. I am currently having a go at your pub conversion and so far so good. Please could you advise which font you used for the sign and also do you have any more details of “Pre-Cut miniature signs as I haven’t been able to find them on the internet. Many tff gf Ann’s Tony C
Hi Tony. the pub was my first kit bash. the shop fronts i think i had used two of them. i remember altering the the front of one of them to make the pub front. i think i had removed the door. as for the pub sign that was done on the pc on word, and shrunk the letters down as small as i could and printed them on a photo sheet. Sanky Scenics www.sankeyscenics.co.uk/ do some signs which i have used in the past. i hope this helps.....all the best Tony
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN Thanks for the reply and yes it is helpful. I am finding various bits that need modifying to get the front to fit but enjoying the challenge. Keep inspiring your many followers.

When i was a kid. I watched the pub getting knocked down in tyne dock.. what was called the station to be honest it would of been around 83 or 84. The rumour goes half the pub is still up. The reason why when they started to knock it down they relised it was a listed building and thats why half of it is still standing. Still stands on the corner of tyne dock where the roundabout is next to the port of tyne in south shields. I believe it makes gravestones called eden. Peter
Hi Peter I will have to do some research, and get back to you, that would be interesting to model. I think I know that roundabout. thanks again for commenting best wishes Tony
