Thanks Andy, yes it's a bit special that reel.i just had to repair it as the anti reverse stopped working! All OK now. Its my chub quiver tip reel.. I've had it for a few years now probably over 20 years??
@chasingshadows-ananglingob2295 I have a shimano aero 6000re that I've had for approaching 20 years now too, had it serviced this year and it's great. Use it for barbel fishing on the lower severn. Good to see yours still going!
I'm going to join ringwood in January Brian. Been thinking about it for a while now as I'm only up the road really (andover) and the Thames just seems to be out of condition most of the winter months..ps I'll try not and fall in 😂
Up here in the midlands we've had slightly mild misty days (more for barbel) but not been out mate, you vids always liked and watched my mate always looking out for them. Proper fishing ...up the rams 👍👍
It's a korum carry strap. I think I got it off ebay for about £12 and then I used a couple of heavy duty cable tie to make a loop on my chair for the strap to contact to. 😊
Hi Keith, thank you for watching. It's an old multi tip TFG rod. But I'm lead to beleave that they were free spirit rods badged up by Matt Hayes. Brilliant rods I've got to say and they are very sought after too so I believe??..I have seen them on ebay going for £100+😮
Lovely video Dave , strangely despite fishing the Berkshire area for the last 10 years I have never seen or fished the kennet , spending the majority of my time on the loddon …. Perhaps one one I will get over your way 👍
