Lovely setting. Just a shame our stour in Suffolk is in decline for decent roach in numbers. Great video again. I will be after roach this weekend coming unfortunately on a still water.
Hello mate HNY to you , it is a lovely swim ,last time I was there half the heard pushed their way into the swim for a drink ,that’s when I moved to the swim by the outlet pipe when I saw you and Charlie , That is looking lovely has to be said .. lovely vid as always mate , some lovely roach had ,cheers mate ..
Hello happy new year, love the opening, really nice flow on the water, do love roach what angler does not love a big roach, new sub here mate, great stuff.
I usually put a couple of balls of liquidised bread in to start and just feed if they want it,so if the fish stop coming I will put another ball of bread in to kick it off again, as for the rod it’s the Drennan 15ft Matchpro ultralight such a great rod to hold all day long when far bank fishing.🎣🎣
Hello , Thanks for the update load. Very helpful. Iv got a week on the Avon from this Friday at Fordingbridge. Could you tell me what Reel your running please , cheers and HNY and tight lines
It’s next door to sandy ball got a cabin for a week. First time there, live on the Isle of Wight and are rivers have just dropped of a cliff at the moment. No silvers at all just wild carp which are okay but mess the swim up totally
I haven't used a keepnet since the early eighties. There is probability that those Roach looked in such good condition because they haven't been put in a net.And seeing a net full of small fish, I don't get it.Surely fish welfare comes first.
The boys at the Avon roach project did a fantabulous job . Anglers should never forget their efforts
@gonzoalonzo They certainly did matey and they have made roach fishing great again🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@malcolmanderson6740 No mate the Avon
Why don't you use a keepnet so you can show your catch at the end of the session?.I know keepnets are banned on some waters.
@@andrewwilson9617 I used to use them all the time but I had so many comments against them so I gave up
