    Great Video. The plug mentioned at the 19:30 mark is for the Windshield Wiper/Washer available at least since this year 2023. I had been searching for it in all the wrong places and figured I would have to add an accessory fuse block (which I will anyway) but your pointing out its existence saved me much time! Thank you, and I wanted to share this tidbit to help any other folks getting the OEM glass windshield & wiper.

Advance Auto, O'Reilly, NAPA, Pep Boys, etc may all carry it too, or another brand that does the same thing. The biggest thing is to make sure that whatever one you use is made for LED lights, and looks like it's fairly well sealed since it will be somewhat exposed to the elements.

      @Newcomer Garage Looks like the lights already have the blinkers in them just not hooked up. Also found plugs running to the lights just not hooked to anything. Even has a fuse labeled signals already. So guessing a flasher switch and wire identification to the lights to tie too and should be good.

    • @captainchaosfpv5188
      @captainchaosfpv5188 2 года назад

      So adding the relay and switch for the uforce 1000 works great. Nothing else needed to do for the front lights. The rear has wires running to each side that recieves the flashing signal. Not sure if I can just tie this to the green and yellow wire that gets voltage when brake is pressed. Wouldnt that just cancel out the signal function when I press the brakes?

      @@captainchaosfpv5188 Are you talking about a 600 or a 1000? On my 1000, there were wires coming out of the OEM taillights for "factory turn signals", but inside the light itself there is no LED array connected to it. That is the reason for having to add the trailer wiring adapter. I was under the impression you bought the 600 based on your first comment, but you said 1000 on this comment so I'm a little confused now. lol

    • @NewcomerGarage
      @NewcomerGarage  10 месяцев назад

      The blinker wires are present in the factory wiring at either headlight and the harness on the bed by either taillight. Machines sold in markets outside of the US came with turnsignals, so the wiring is all there to use with the OEM lights. I go over all of the colors and locations in the video.

    I have a 2023, tied into the front ground and baby blue (passenger side) but I’m not getting 12 volts from there. Tried the driver side and same thing. I got the oem switch and the flasher module which for the 2023 is a different part number but I can’t figure out why I’m not getting 12v. Getting around 4-6v. I used the same ground and tested another cable in the harness and I do get 12v. Any ideas?

      @hffhtgdhg3224 I'm not familiar with the 2022-23 models, but I do know that there are some differences from the '21 and older models like mine. First of all, did you use the switch and flasher that I listed in the video description? If so, those are not the correct ones for the '22+ machines. If you used the correct parts for your year of machine, it might be a built in feature on the newer units much like newer vehicles that shut off the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) when the turnsignals are activated to make the turnsignals more visible. It's common in the automotive industry on vehicles that have the signal lights integrated into the headlight assembly like the OEM signal lights from CFMoto do.

    • @NewcomerGarage
      @NewcomerGarage  2 года назад

      You should be able to just extend the 3 small gauge wires up at the solenoid (Red,Black, and Green) in to your rocker switch and it should work. You'll need another 12v and ground to the switch if you want the lights on the switch to work as well. I wouldn't go trying to pull power from other accessories as you may end up inadvertently backfeeding components or supplying circuits with multiple feeds and that may make your fusing ineffective.

    • @NewcomerGarage
      @NewcomerGarage  2 года назад

      I'm not familiar with the U800, but I suspect it's similar to the 1000. Did you cut the brake wire back where the "trailer light" adapter is installed or did you just tie into it without cutting it? It has to be cut as that is what essentially separates the left and right lights from each other. Other than that common mistake, all I can recommend is double checking all of the connections and make sure you tied all of the wires that were cut into the corresponding wires correctly. (Make sure that any wires that were cut to make connections have the connections made on the correct side of the cut.) There's also the possibility of getting a defective trailer light adapter...

      I'm sure there is a plug for the hazard lights as well. Basically if it was standard equipment in other markets outside of the US, it's pretty much already wired for it. It's cheaper for the manufacturer to just have one wiring harness for each model regardless of its final destination.

      I'm not a fan of the way it looks having LEDs drilled into or surface mounted on the bed. Honestly, I'm not super thrilled about them in the front bumper either, but on the bed, they are susceptible to being damaged easily when loading or unloading things from the bed. Using the existing lights is a cleaner, more professional looking end result in my opinion.
