Short description: Clara's selflessness makes me cry and so this video was made. :D
Slightly longer (much longer actually) description: Hehe in all seriousness though, this song is perfect for Clara and the Doctor. She loves him "unconditionally," fully accepting her fate to save the Doctor. And she saves him in every way possible: (1) she saves his life, (2) she saves his heart (from the despair and sense of loss he felt prior to meeting her), and (3) she saves him from himself. She is, in a sense, his voice of reason, which we see in the 50th. But she is much more than that. She is someone who cares, wholeheartedly, for the Doctor, always putting his needs above her own, just as she does for others. I also wanted to show a bit of Clara's growth as a companion, so hopefully the idea of that came across somehow. I am so happy the Doctor has someone so selfless and brave to accompany him on his adventures. (Nevermind the fact that Eleven is regenerating this Christmas, which is beyond heartbreaking--I just want to stay in my happy whoufflé bubble for now). And so this vid was made. :)
It took forever to edit (though it was TONS of fun). And after attempting to upload it a few times, the timing still got a little wibbly wobbly during some parts (sorry about that). Hope you all still enjoy it! Also it's been awhile since I've made a "long" vid, so hopefully this makes up for that :)

Love this video. How grand it would have been to see Clara and the Doctor on the swings together again. She is by far my favorite companion.

I still don't understand why so many fans didn't like Clara. She's definitely in my top 3 on my Best New Who Companions List (along with Rose Tyler and Donna Noble)...
I agree. It's probably pretty sad that i still ship these two in 2021 but oh well :P. But Clara is definitely my favourite companion from new who, my favourite classic who companion being Sarah Jane Smith. I never understood the hate that Clara got either, in my opinion her whole character arc was built perfectly, and Moffat did such a good job of introducing her in S7 Part 2, and then the friendship that she had with Capaldi's doctor was also brilliant. It was heartbreaking when matt left, and then when Jenna left. But personally Matt and Jenna are my favourite duo, much like Liz Sladen and Tom Baker in the 70s.

this makes me cry because i miss matt, i miss clara and 12 and clara, and moffats writing. series 11 is a dumpster fire. we always had hope that things would be at least good if not great. our hearts where always always mended, not anymore.

And in actual fact, this video is on my favourites and played at the time I was looking up painless ways to die. ALL THAT LOVE. ***** haha, aww! I actually do know how. You don't have to though. But two other people and I use it and it works. So you go to the copyright notice thing in video manager and click 'file a dispute'(you might need to search a little for it) and then click the second to last one and say about how it's open to the public and this is purely for entertainment purposes blah blah blah and check a little box and then click ok or something and then wait a little and it should be good. Sorry if that wasn't very precise ;P Do you have instagram? (soRRY FOR THE SUPER LONG COMMENT)
