Where is Caro's apology to Clarko for her factually incorrect statements in this segment?
OMG!!! Sam Mitchell played 2 years in the VFL before playing for Hawthorn. He had some shocking performances in GF's before getting it right. Clarko's comments are completely on point. Taken out of contexts im sure too.

context does kinda matters coz the subject extract viewed in isolation as somehow anti Mitchell may in fact be used to sell a quite different message & or moral to the story more broadly by using what may seemingly appear perfect AFL draft rookie to premiership captain to coach career of Mitchell as a real life example that includes notof might be one about "never give up"
lol Clarkson and Mitchell actually have a good relationship, a lot of mutual respect. Clarkos gripe (rightfully so) is with Kennett's and Hawthorns board handling of the situation.

Clarko's gripe is actually with the aFL, but he knows he can't come Straight out & say it mate, because he & his club are at the mercy of the precious 5 year old girls who run it.
I'm not a Hawks fan but jeez, they treated Clarko horribly!! It's been horrific and potentially image and career destroying.. They're pieces of shait and Jeff Kennett is the biggest piece of shait in this case.. Why do this to a coach who's been nothing but amazing for your club?

Yeah Sam Mitchell didn't perform that great in the GF's however he had really good taggers on him all game in 2008 & 2013 Cameron Ling tag in 2008 Crowley tag in 2013
You are a litle bit off . He was quiet and beaten ( by taggers) in 08 but was great for hawks in 13 , 14 and 15. Only the one slow GF

Why is no one talking about the real villain of this story. The journalist who wrote a horribly biased article that sensationalised events, left out context and was deliberately released the week of the GF to try and hijack the game. Clearly he is the person in the wrong in my opinion.
You can't blame journalists for publishing sensational information that has been handed to them. I blame Hawthorn's handling of the report. They should have sent it back to the author as incomplete when the accused were not interviewed for their responses to the accusations. Hawthorn should have insisted that those responses, even a "no comment", should have been included in the report. The author showed clear bias by not even trying to speak to the accused. He even made a recommendation in the report that the accusers receive compensation for their totally unproven allegations. This is what we can expect in general life as par for the course should the "yes" vote get up in the upcoming referendum.

The media, and journalists in general, need to take a hard look at themselves. How do they sleep at night? Revulting humans, preying off of the misfortunes of others. The way that they put people to the sword, they wouldn't last 5 minutes under the same pressure.
watch Front Bar, Just find it interesting the love and respect Shaun Burgoyne has for Clarko and his family, makes me wonder if its not about the money for those Indigenous accuses, who couldnt cut it as AFL Players, easy these days to accuses people without any evidence, media does not care about the truth, its a big story and Clarko and Chris are easy targets.
I doubt Mitchell will bother to respond to this. He averaged something Iike 35 touches in finals and Clarkson knows his value, can't imagine he'd be undermining him to a bunch of academy kids. Complete baloney this story

Get it court asap so every including journalists, the aggrieved and the alleged perpetrators can present their recollections and be questioned accordingly. Otherwise end it now and FO.
That was definitely a jab at Kennett, him and Clarko have never had a great relationship but his sacking (it was definitely a sacking, and it had probably been a long time coming) was well and truly the final straw. This investigation has just made a already bad relationship even worse.
@@epektasis242 the contract didn't lapse, it had a year to run and they decided they didn't want him to be coach after it, thus effectively a sacking. It was supposed to be a succession plan (which was mostly because they didn't want to pay him out, had the contract not had a year to go he probably would have been explicitly sacked) but as always, with the exception of Sydney, it blew up and Clarko left a year early, as we see now, on bad terms. I don't know about you, but I call that a sacking. And if Kennett were to be honest, he wanted to do it years ago. Him and Clarko have never had the greatest relationship personally, and now they have absolutely none.
It is about time Matthew Lloyd started to lead these discussions because Caro & Hutchie the Hutt just talk utter drivel

Firstly I do wonder why Clarko who has a heap on his plate as it is, was asked by the afl to talk to the draft hopefuls? That’s as dumb as it gets. He was rambling his story amongst other stories and was more than likely correct as Sam has stated himself his flaws back then. He was tagged by Crowley and Ling and we did win both games so? Also if we go back to 2013 when he was tagged big time by the claw Crowley, he wasn’t tagged or was unable to be tagged by Geelong and Chris Scott who absolutely choked again, leading by 20 at 3/4 time. Go have a look at the game of Mitchell. He doesn’t do that and hawthorn don’t get to the GF. This racism thing wasn’t done well by hawthorn but their intentions were for all the players to have a voice. They did and you didn’t hear buddy or Burgoyne having a problem and we know how this started with Cyril’s wife blowing a gasket over nothing. You only have to listen to uncle Michael Long speak of Cyril’s wife. He just shakes his head and tells us straight out, that she is dangerous. Cyril sticks to his wife and that is up to him. As for the other lads, none got going in their career and you wonder whether it’s just a money grab? No one knows. Clarko and the player. I do find it very hard to believe it was said in this way. Clarko needs to pull up and show some class and go sort it out with the afl.
As for Caro, she is ridiculous and bias.. she speaks and says I think this or I believe this. Either you know or you don’t. The pathetic spin she puts on things makes her look toxic. Amazing that this was the only show that covered this none story and did it as their headline act. I also don’t get how you talk about ethics in your high at mighty way…
