- In this video we begin building the Tarot Ironman 650 quadcopter frame before we later begin mounting the electronics and programming the 3D robotics pixhawk autopilot system. All in all it seems a very good quality frame. This quadcopter should be used for mapping/photographing fields (with crop) from above. We'll see how that unfolds soon. Stay tuned and subscribe!

Thanks for this series of videos, I will be referring back to them for sure. One thing though, Tarot is pronounced tarrow, like barrow or sparrow, not like carrot. ☺
You know the instructions say to take the whole main plate section apart and lock tight all the screws into the metal posts!. Kinda makes sense from all my mono blade helis I built in the past!
Yes. And i believe i mention it somewhere (either in this video or a later one). Although i must say, that the screws are very tight even after 30 flights or so without locktite. So yes it is a good idea, but not necessarily life threatening to do so :-)
hey nice work you are doing there i want to ask you one thing can this frame spen 17" props?
Mohammed Buti Thank you. You might just be able to fit them. Have seen others do it, but i wouldn't recommend it. 16" is probably the largest for this frame.
The individual cf parts ware well made on this frame, but the landig gear sucks. Also, the screw holes on the plastic pylon ends break EASY. They shoulda used beefier ends. Also, there is almost, but not quite enough roon to put any type of controller in the main center body. Plus the standoffs for the "battery compartment" are too short to fit any type of usefull battery, controller in there. If this kit were to come with taller standoffs and two auxillary plates, that would be dandy.
share hardware parts please
QUE MOTOR USAS NO SE VE MUY BIEN.... SALUDOS
Si tis the same as the 650 Sport? If not what is the differences, please. Thanks
No it is different. It is the same size, but the sport has an integrated PCB, retractable landing gear, and plastic motor mounts and thats all i can see is different. I never had a 650 sport so i wouldn't know for sure :-)
+MultiCopterBuild I love your videos!! I would like to talk to you! I have this great idea
Nice looking watch. What is it, please?
Thank you. It is a Skagen SKW6001. Beautiful design. Unfortunately it is discontinued now :(
Look up Bering, its the same designer :) i have one
Matthias Kuper Yes they are very beautiful too. I thought about buying one, but am looking at a Steinhart at the moment. :-)
Hey can anyone tell me what the max Inch blade size this frame can handle?
The safe max prop is 16". You could go with 17" and some have done, you just need to make sure nothing expands beyond the center hub. :-)
MultiCopterBuild Ah thank you. I was going to find out anyway should be coming in mail shortly lol! Now I can order blades so everything comes around the same time :-)
Understood. thanks anyway.
Hy can i setup Tarot IRONMAN 650 as 8x ? thanks
You would need some other motor mounts where it has plates on both sides. Sure you can find those somewhere. The frame is pure Carbon Fibre so i guess it would be strong enough for 4 extra motors. If you do try it, please post your progress. Would be cool to see :-)
