Same!! My sister and I saw Mötley Crüe in Dallas twice during the late 80's and it was most definitely a great time to be a teenager. Saw so many other bands, too. Our generation were like serial concert goers. Before we started driving, my Dad would drive us out to Rainbow Ticketmaster or Sears and drop us off the night before tickets went on sale to camp out for tickets to get good seats and it was a whole scene. This video is definitely an accurate representation of a Crüe show.
🤘😎🤘 "East L.A. At Midnight, Papa Won't Be Home Tonight, Found Dead With His Best Friend's Wife" is still my favorite part of this song. A lot of people think this is a party song, and it's so far from being a party on the wild side. The video went number one on MTV. According to the R.I.A.A. and Billboard, Motley Crue has sold over 119 Million albums.
@@matthewklimas6905 🤘😎🤘 "Puppets With Strings Of Gold" is so bad-a**! I was 15, when this song was released, and had my parents read the lyrics. They were surprised and very impressed.
CRUE! CRUE! CRUE! I can still hear that chant from so long ago....they spent a lot of there own money putting on the special effects....it was really something to see live🤘
I have loved hip hop my entire life. as a white dude I love to see you guys getting down with my peoples music. cutrurally we have so much to share with each other that will produce some amazing music
Umm how can you NOT comment on the drum kit? I mean his playing is top notch. But the entire drum riser comes out to the front of the stage and spins him around in the air WHILE HE'S PLAYING. They didn't even notice that?
I can still remember standing outside a hotel in Providence Rhode Island hoping to get a glimpse of Crue as they headed over to the Civic Center to do that nights show. All of the sudden is started raining on us but it wasn't rain. It was whiskey. We all looked up and sure enough there were the boys from Motley hanging out the window of the hotel yelling to the crowd while they shared a drink with us in Motley fashion. It was awesome. I was seventeen at the time and in a band myself and I absolutely idolized Motley Crue. It was a great show and one of the best nights of my life.
This was the second cassette tape I bought when I was 12 in 1987 with my own money and my mom read the lyrics to wild side and and almost made me return it for a country cassette lol. But then I played her the live cover of jailhouse rock on side 2 and she let me keep it.
The drum kit spinning is a big reason I'll watch multiple Wild Side reactions. Some peoples jaws drop to the floor then there's these two that didn't even appear to notice.
Tommy Lee has some amazing drum kits. I had the pleasure to see that tour we all lost our minds when he spun around. I highly recommend checking out is other innovative drum solo.
This tour was a BLAST! They had Tommy Lee's Bday in Phoenix, I traveled to see the 2 night show ...they were SHITFACED! Nikki fell off the stage right in front of me, still a fun, rockin show.
Tommy lee and the spinning drum kit in 1987 was so far ahead of its time. Its seemed at the time to be almost impossible considering where we were from a technology stand point. This was like some NASA type shit not for a rock band.
Mick Mares the lead guitar player was in his 30's when motley cru was formed and suffering from a bone disease that limited his movement's and caused him considerable pain while his band mate's were barely in there 20's.
I saw them on this tour, the Girls,Girls, Girls tour. It was my first time seeing them live. Tommy had the drum set that flipped upside down during his drum solo. By the way that movie The Dirt got more things wrong than right
You should react to SIXX AM we will not go quietly It is a band that was founded by the founder of motley Crue Nikki Sixx It is an amazing song and video
Seen this tour back in the day, they were always 🔥. I'm a new sub. Enjoyed your react. Check out the video "Kickstart My Heart", have a feeling you'll LOVE it. ❤💜
You guys smoke weed? You look high af lol Great reaction. Motley Crue is one of my favorite bands although Nikki Sixx is going through the ringer right now. He's being accused of using pre-recorded tracks during their live performances. I, personally, don't care if they do. They're old. They've already proven themselves as badass rock and rollers. They have nothing left to prove. Just put on a good show. That's all I would say. Anyway, puff puff pass 🤭
I was born in 1970 being a kid in the 70’s a teen in the 80’s and in my 20’s in the 1990’s great time to be alive…great times…

Saw this tour July 5th 1987 in Memphis....Whitesnake opened. To this day, it's one of the best shows I've ever seen!

That's my favorite lyric too.
My favorite is same verse but..
Name dropping no names, glamorize cocaine, puppets with strings of gold”

I carry my crucifix under my death list, forward my mail to me in hell!
Tragic life on the wild side
Drum kit doing a 360??? Tommy playing UPSIDE DOWN!!??
Man... now that's wild!
👍🏽
I got to see this live and it was amazing. No pre-recorded tracks and lip syncing back in that day, it was all real and it was fabulous!
was there for the recording of this video. It was a blast
God I miss the 80's - MC was an excellent concert! If you can't feel that - you need to check your pulse. 🔥
CRUE! CRUE! CRUE!
I can still hear that chant from so long ago....they spent a lot of there own money putting on the special effects....it was really something to see live🤘
Crue crue crue crue crue crue crue crue!!!!
I have loved hip hop my entire life. as a white dude I love to see you guys getting down with my peoples music. cutrurally we have so much to share with each other that will produce some amazing music
I seen that same concert in Salt Lake City in September of 87, still got my ticket and concert book! Coolest thing I ever seen in my teen years!
My daughter sings her heart out to this in the car sitting in her car seat, its so cute and so funny, she's my little rock kid🤘🏻🎶
If you go to a Crue live show now it sounds EXACTLY like this 🤣
When youre at school everybody is talking about the concert tonight it was awesome

I was at one of their shows during the 87 tour. Which was when this video was done. Seeing them back then, was extremely energetic!
Nice reaction! I appreciate you don’t pause the video !❤️🤘🏻
Mötley Crüe - Home Sweet Home (Official Music Video)
Great era of the 80s. Motley crue ridin the wave with some true classics.

To think everyone in that audience was in or near my graduating class in high school 35 years ago!!🤘🤘
Thank you. I hope you have a great day too ❤❤
Did you see that drum kit spin. Motley crue was our " wild side." Yes we 80s kids definitely had a " wild side." Good times.
The drum kit spinning is a big reason I'll watch multiple Wild Side reactions. Some peoples jaws drop to the floor then there's these two that didn't even appear to notice.
I was "there" and loved every minute of it! Please say more of what you thought!
Tommy Lee has some amazing drum kits. I had the pleasure to see that tour we all lost our minds when he spun around. I highly recommend checking out is other innovative drum solo.
I was there at MARKET SQUARE. Great show. Motley Crue and White Snake
Some dark days back in the 80’s some of us are still here
I was at this concert! Market Square Arena Indianapolis Indiana. They did this song twice to get different footage
This was/still is my era!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!
This tour was a BLAST! They had Tommy Lee's Bday in Phoenix, I traveled to see the 2 night show ...they were SHITFACED! Nikki fell off the stage right in front of me, still a fun, rockin show.

Hardly. It's cool, but not that hard to do. Just takes money.
Mick Mares the lead guitar player was in his 30's when motley cru was formed and suffering from a bone disease that limited his movement's and caused him considerable pain while his band mate's were barely in there 20's.

Yep saw them on this tour as well at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada
Grunge took all our fun.
Depressing nerdy dudes destroyed it all. Nerds everywhere destroy it all.
Awesome cool video, great in concert live yeah 🤘😆🤘🎥
Early crue's riffs were so hard, but so within the crazy eighties context..
No comment about Tommy Lee playing drums in rotation? You lost me!!
I'm so glad to see you guys I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I hope everybody is healthy and peace and love my friends.
You should react to

And you didn't mention the spinning drum kit!???? WTF?
YOU ALL LITERALLY DIDNT REALIZE TOMMY LEES DRUM KIT WAS IN A CAGE SPINNING AROUND!
This bro is so high 🌿
You guys should watch Live Wire. Motley was old hat for a lot of us at this point.
oh the good ol days ' how i miss em so
Crue rules baby
Nikki Sixx was strung on Heroine. Cool guy
I watched the dirt like most people watch horror movies.. same with reading the heroin diaries 😳😤😭
Me too. Nikki's head is so far up his own ass that he forgot there are people who also lived through those times and know that's not how it happened.
She gets it, had the good old school head banging nod the whole time 👍🤟🖕
she's dumb.
Seen this tour back in the day, they were always 🔥. I'm a new sub. Enjoyed your react. Check out the video "Kickstart My Heart", have a feeling you'll LOVE it. ❤💜
