Nah there actually is a video of a Bugatti driving straight into the water. The funny thing is, that driver was trying to file a false insurance claim and someone just happened to be filming him, because it was a Bugatti. The video went viral and the driver’s claim was denied.

Love how Doug called Hurley Haywood just "a Porsche racecar driver", when the dude won Le Mans 3 times, Daytona 24 hours 5 times and 12 hours of Sebring twice. Haywood is an extremely successful endurance driver.
I'd like to argue for the Jeremy Clarkson Ariel atom video because it probably introduced more people to Top Gear than any other single video and made Final Gear and BitTorrenting top gear SUCH a thing in the early '00s

As a teenager I was able to go for a ride up the mountain roads from Reno to Lake Tahoe with one of Carroll Shelby's former race car drivers in a continuation series Cobra. One thing that it taught me, that I wish every teenager could learn, was that I was no where near a good driver! I usually don't like riding with people going fast but I was comfortable with him because the skill and smoothness was obvious!!
My all time GOAT car RUclips video is the Motor Trend Drag Race between the Veyron Vs Aventador Vs LFA Vs McLaren MP4-12c with Jason Cammisa hosting. Absolutely iconic
One of my favorite classics are the guys in a 911 mocking an Audi for loud popping sounds until it pulls away and they struggle to keep up with it. They felt they were being 'terrorized' by that car (their words). It takes place on some German highway and the dialogue is in German but the reactions are hilarious.
The Countach family having the MK3 Supra on the driveway was peak taste. So many videos and memories, and so many more on Streetfire as well. Enjoyed this trip down memory lane and would love to see more episodes like this too. Perhaps there could be viewer submitted suggestions for iconic videos we all remember, to get a wide variety of ones we know but may not come to mind.
David's Farm videos were the best until we all found out what he was doing on that farm :( . It's such a shame that was the end result being he was basically the first car RUclipsr. I just hope those kids are doing alright.

Pretty interesting to think that I, like Kennan watched German/Japanese F355 testing videos at nauseum from early RUclips days to now. I too got that dream car a gated F355 Spider Red/Tan and it is currently sitting next to my 96 Viper RT10 VIN 00002. I am 38 yo and it's cool to me that I'm not the only hopelessly car obsessed person in this group. Kenyan you are not alone! But you should have kept the 355 and you most definitely need an early Viper. Nothing like owning and driving these cars and they actually live up to the legend we built in our heads.
I didn't see anyone transcribing the German Video. I am from Germany and recognized that video instantly. We have such review videos a lot in the 90s, with some kind or other music like that (think of NFS IV Hot Pursuit menu music!). In that video the commentor describes the "elegance", explains some technical details - it is a typical review of a super sports car in the 90s here in Germany :D

2004 viper truck when I went to buy one they raised the price from 54k to 72k. Needless to say I ended up getting my 2004 ram hemi with a 5 speed cause that was 32k. and ANYone who was around cars knew that burnouts can spin out pretty quickly especially in a truck. Now, you can rent them here, and local shows are sponsored by the local Lamborghini of Broward dealership. Exotics and ultra luxury cars are so common down here that I once counted 12! Rolls Royces in a 3 block radius in Miami Beach.

A lot of my favorite are Japan related. For instance “C1 Loop Raw” is an RX7 and an R32 racing through the C1 loop in Japan. Another video has a Mcalaren F1, Honda NSX, Ferrari F355, and Porsche GT2(?), racing at the Yatabe Test Track. And finally another favorite is “Abflug x Mid Night Porsche” simply because it shows an interior shot of the car and all of the gauges are sideways to only show the top speed, which was so cool when I first saw that many years ago. Edit: One more, “Hakone Pass Touge Early 90s” is a guy and his friend drifting up a mountain and driving back down over and over with 50+ cars while playing Reggae music. And I spent the first few seconds wondering how he even got into reggae and not how dangerous and cool everything is.
I've heard a few race drivers say they get sick as a passenger. I think being the driver gives you have advantage to predict and brace for strong G changes.

My step father still has it after I sold it to him for 3750 and a Saturn with 200k miles on it six months later. He poured some fresh juice in the barrels the next weekend and I'm still alive, win win. I'm optimistic I'll get it back someday, he did let me drive once after lol

The 355 video was a review from Auto Motor und Sport TV, the TV show from the print magazine with same name. It was and still is Germany's biggest car mag. The TV show also still exists but under a different name. When the TV show reviewed an exotic car, the narrative was typically quite poetic, this review was no different.
I think the F355 video is from the German car show ''Auto Motor und Sport TV'' which ran at this time on German TV channel Vox (not Fox ;)) and I think it still runs on Kabel 1. Always on Sunday I think.

The V10 TDI and the SRT10 crash were ironically the only two of these I've ever seen. This needs to be done again with a much more extensive list!
