It was wonderful seeing the cast reunite and reminisce about growing up with each other. It was like seeing old friends again, since many of us did grow up watching them. ♥️🥰
I don't know why, but that hug between the three where Daniel has his one arm outstretched for Rupert, while the other is hugging Emma just hits me in the feels.
The aabsence of Alan Rickman is painful. His screen death is one of the most moving. I hope at some time there was a toast or a moment to memorialize the actor who was so central to the series.
If I may add: Another reason for reshooting the epilogue was the negative feedback they got for the looks of the grown up trio (and Malfoy) seen from leaked images from the set. The makeup aged them much more than the 38 or so years old they were supposed to be. I'm glad they redid it. The original look was pretty darn bad. We can see glimpses of it in this video at 8:10. Harry looks very different here than in the final cut we saw.
So many people were watching a coming of age while coming of age. I think the loyalty and dedication of the cast and crew through so many years is really something unique.
2:20 is no one going to talk about how cutee they look on this scene like they r on the verge of tears but they still manage to look like the adorable glolden trio they truly are
I kind of understand why they don't tell the actors when their last day will be. However, I understand how heartbreaking it can be for the actors too. It is like running really fast for so long and then stopping suddenly.
For me it‘s still so crazy to imagine them filming everything but in total mixed up order in comparison to the final cut. These actors and actresses do such a good job, making us believe they went through all the scenes in the same order as we see in the final version, but actually filming e.g. the „Farewell“ scene of the first movie on the second day. I wonder if they fully realize and understand the whole thing while filming. I mean they red the script before but filming it must be totally different. Unbelievable what great films come out in the end
I work in the film industries and this is a totally insane thing about filming indeed. But there are loads of people to make sure it al fits and works out with all those different scenes, locations, etc. and they also make sure that other cast and crew won’t get confused and know exactly what they’re up too. But yes, it must be a very difficult job as an actor to tell the storyline in a totally non-chronological order!
I’m doing filmproduction myself, also making the shooting scedules, making sure other positions are on time, running the set, etc. I remember filming the final scène of a movie once and it was so emotional, at sunset and everything. It felt like the last day of us working as a crew and cast too, while we weren’t even halfways 😂 But it suited the scedule bests. Crazy stuff. I’m very proud of the actors still 😊 To think of that as a small movie and then you have HARRY POTTER, filming all those movies for a decade, with way more cast and crew… That must have been amazing!! And very challenging too. I’m forever thankful for these movies (and books of course!) ❤
J.K. Rowling and the cast and all who participated in the books and movies did an outstanding job on a whole other level. They all set the bar for generations to come!!!
Has anyone else realised that in book 6 professor slughorn says “after what happened to your friend Rupert” and then the actual actor who played Ron was named Rupert like is this just me??? 😦😶😐
It's cos slughorn never thought Ron was important so never remembered Ron Weasley so often times he basically called him whatever and I guess he slipped Rupert in too
I remember hearing Hermione scream being tortured was disturbing!!!!!! But then seeing Bellatrix get blown up everyone clapped in the theatre!!!! So long ago I don't remember where I've seen it also a lot of us and me growing up with these people yeah give them props for all this stuff!!!!!!! Alotta work put into these movies!!!!!
I never can get enough of Harry Potter!! Great job to the Golden Trio!! I always wanted to be Hermione, but now after all she had gone through, no thank you!! Hats off to Bellatrix and Hermione torture scene, it was so intense watching it, I can't imagine being there and enduring it so naturally!! Great job Emma!
I was quietly crying from the beginning to the end of the video thinking that we saw them grew up from kids to adults in the movies.. The most unbelievable thing is I watched Harry Potter when I was a kid and the Harry Potter characters were also just kids back then but I'm still 18 and they are adults now.. How it could be.. How amazing was that. I was so obsessed with all the Harry Potter movies like I have watched them for thousands of times. And I still love them in the same way like nothing has changed I still in my childhood. Forever a PotterHead.👓🔰
Even when Bellatrix killed her cousin Sirius you can tell there was a tinge of remorse in her face cause she realized she just killed her family member and went back to being evil I just always found that interesting
2:21 I don't understand why this scene was the last one ever shot.. it's from HP &DH part 1 (escaping from Ministry of Magic).. they should have had another movie ahead to film... 🤔🤔🤔 am I wrong???
I like the fact that why they have to wap up filming production they should just continue with with the acting and I am very like the fact everything they have been through on the set They go through a lot of make up changes
Just want to clarify a bit of fake news here. Dan didnt lose his family member until one year AFTER filming had finished, and just BEFORE the release itself.
im not sure if im right but im pretty sure alan rickman (snape) met this kid who was dying from something. and the kid told him that their dream was to be on a harry potter film. and so alan made that kids wish come true

What makes me cry even more is the fact that I haven’t watched the reunion yet 😭
Same, it's a shame that it's only available on Sky or Now 😔
It’s on binge!
Just watch it asap. Gotta rewatch Harry Potter series too afterwards.
I don’t have HBO max!
@@KitKat-hq6fb What’s that?
The way they portrayed these scenes was so great. Such amazing acting by each of them. Also loved the reunion.
I bet when the actors watch the movies over again, they won't see them as movies, they'll see them as memories.

From everything I’ve heard all of them haven’t watched past the fourth movie
I watched it last night and it was so emotional seeing which actors have died since the final Harry Potter movie.
The thing about Sirius Black Death was Harry was really screaming he had just lost his grandma that day and it was very hard on him
sadd😩😩
Except that his grandmother died in 2008 and this was filmed in 2007. It's a dramatic story, but it's 100% made up by speculatory fans.
@@erinjoyner3739 wait is that true?!
@@takemetothelakes13 Yeah. It's easy enough to fact check. Rumors just unfortunately perpetuate over the internet.

Harry Potter was my childhood, especially the darker films
Likewise, Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite, since that's where the films started to get darker and more complex, in my opinion.

When Harry lost Sirius it was such an emotional scene that it made both Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter cry
I heard that it also made Bonnie Wright (Ginny) cry as well.
Harry Potter is one of the best series and fantasy worlds ever created.
