Thank You, Thank You, Video Right On with the Problem, I have a 2002 F-150. Vacuum Leak was in a Different spot, Right Next to the FireWall near the Battery, left hand side of the Engine looking in. Found the Vacuum line traced it over and found Three area's had this Cheap Black Rubber Foam Vacuum Hose at the Fitting Connections which was in Very Bad Condition / Leaking. Replaced all Three ( 45 MInutes ). Truck works Great !!! This 74 Year Old Salutes You !!!!
I am having the same issue on my 2003 Ford F150 extended cab. Need to check my vacuum lines!! Thank you! It’s HOT 🥵 in South Texas. I found three cracked vacuum lines under the hood. This fixed my A/C vent issue.
I replaced the orings in my controller on my 02 Harley Davidson F150 Edition and didn't fix it. Found your video the very same section was dry rotted. Replaced and back to ice cold AC out the vents. Wicked hot here in El Paso,Texas. Thanks again. 🎉
I have a 2003 F150 HD. 100-year anniversary Edition. My vacuum leak was in the ac controller. The truck sat for years, now it won't hold an ac charge. 😑
MANY THANKS, BROTHER!!! Mine was at the tee on the firewall behind the battery. Luckily I had some tubing and now the system is working again!! Just turned over 257,000, been driving for over 25 years. Cheapest repair yet!! Thanks again! Steve in San Antonio
I literally just replaced that section of hose you pointed to first. It was totally rotted through. I don't even have that tee on my 02 f150 that you replaced. I have fixed 4 different vacuum leaks and my ac still only comes out the defrost. Ugh
same here with 99 model. I had to go underneath the driver side dash. The vent controller is up in there by the center console. I moved the level by hand and secured it at the panel position. Old stuff is old stuff.
Thank you Brother, my leak was at the first place you showed. Your video was excellent, short, sweet and to the point.
