We have had a Kingaire, Mountainaire, Dutchstar, Ventana and a 06 Prevost Country Coach (purchased from Brad) and have to say NOTHING compares to even the older Prevost coaches. The fit finish and secure feeling you have when driving the coach is just second to none. I think where you will see differences is within the electronics (unless upgraded systems). But for the purpose of this video I think you were spot on! They are super quiet and a dream to drive! Great review Andrew!

I love them both; but the Emerald seems quieter. The more I see these models the less interested I am in the production coaches. I’d rather spend $400k on a used model and still have a better unit than a new production model.

Absolutely! Production coaches are no good.. You spend 400k on production coach and the roof is leaking 10 years later

My thoughts exactly. Now I just need the 400k to waste…

Those are both some very nice coaches. I can barely tell them apart. And I know you're loving to drive those Prevost coaches no matter what year they are. Great video as always Andrew 👏🏾👌🏾👍🏾 previously

Andrew, loved this comparison video. For me I love the XL II better. I’m sure it’s just personal preference, each have its pluses. I would love to own either one, you can’t go wrong. Thanks for the ride along. 😊

Both beautiful Coaches. Too difficult to separate and differentiate. You are the qualified eye who can see the difference.

I personally like the fact the drivers seat is at the same level as the rest of the coach. It gives a better look down on the road, and just a bit more living space.

Hope to own one at some point.
But honestly based on this video I believe my 05 CC Magna is quieter going down the road.

I have worked on both . The 60 series are a lot easier to work on . We had to pull the radiator on the Volvo to do a turbo or the egr cooler witch would leak a lot

Hi Andrew. I really like this type of video where you are doing a comparison. Very interesting. Personally, I think they are both phenomenal coaches but I am a big fan of the tried and true Detroit diesel so I’d probably lean towards the ‘06 but again, both are incredible coaches. Great, fun video! Take care.

    The XLII is my choice.
Now do a comparison with 2 Newells and the video has to be the same with the cameraman going to the back of the bus because the walk-thru while in motion shows me a lot.

Nice comparison. I worked for Outlaw fresh out of college and I thought we had the best looking interiors. My favorites were the XL-II Outlaw Coach models. Cool to see what they are doing with the Emerald marquee.

I wouldn’t buy a new RV under any circumstances. There’s far more fun to be had buying a quality used motorhome and the possibilities for any alterations you might want. With a good PDI and a reputable dealership I’d feel a lot safer. I’m seeing too many faults in the new stock and less build care than before.
    Whatever makes you happy 😊

I prefer the non slide xl40 and xl2 havent driven but the older around late nineties really seem solid on test drives ive watched on here any feedback on best years for tall guy im 6 foot 3 inches heard xl2 was tallest interior headroom and xl2 nineties vintage seem real solid any thoughts would be great thx !!

Nice video Andrew. Not trying to talk smack but my 96 liberty drives more quiet then both of them. Andrew, stop lifting your tag axle so much, only needed on extreme tight corners.🙂 Tag tires will always age out before they tread out.
