    I love Line and Wash and absolutely love this painting
    and how you mix media with the pencils. Inspirational. You ate such a joy to watch and your skits with your lovely wife. As one whose been married 68 years, I can really relate to your companionship.

    Absolutely gorgeous! Your line & wash are genius. Soo beautiful. You can really see the difference on a drawing that is setup properly with correct perspective, vanishing point. Cant get enough of these. Im buying your book today… thank you.

    The tree shadows on the roof was a perfect addition. Line & wash is one of my favs and I wouldn't be mad if you did a tutorial of a castle scene...just saying. Thanks for all the great videos and tips, Paul.

    Thanks for all your videos, all are interesting and I learn a lot. As a French, I appreciate your very clear and smart English. You are very kind in your manner to explain simply difficult things. I should appreciate more examples of mountains and ski resorts in winter, because painting snow seems to me very difficult.

    How could anyone not like this video? Thank you, Paul. I love the yellow ochre mix -- I'm going to try that. And blurring the edges with a damp tissue -- love it. Never saw that before. Bockingford, although not my favorite paper, is very forgiving. I like the white accents at the end, too.

    This scene made a beautiful painting. And I've never seen anyone else use the damp paper towell technique to soften the edges, a very interesting trick I will incorporate into my paintings from now on. You do so many cool things I've not seen anyone else do, I'm so glad I found you. Me thinks you will make a good artist out of me yet. Thank you!

    This was a great video to watch as an intro to line and wash. It inspires me to look at pictures like this farm one. I grew up in the Shenandoah valley of virginia and could easily imagine what great scenes I could find around my old home. Thank you so much!

    Paul, great work as always and thank you for sharing your talents and suggestions with us.
    Knowing comments regarding soundtracks are touchy, I hesitate to comment but know you will receive it as a positive criticism.
    Thought the second soundtrack was overdone in this one. Wish the volume was lower and that soundtracks if used would vary more and have shorter cycle times.

    Wow, just wow. My paintings always have so much paint on the paper! I love this more transparent style. And, I appreciate the paintings you show at the ends of the videos. I also see at least one way in which I can "pay" you- this book! I will look it up.

    Lovely - after watching a few videos, I am going yo try this one with the line and wash. You are really great to share all your knowledge with us. Watercoloring is so relaxing so it's no wonder you don't look like you have 30 years experience! Flattery will get me nowhere - I live in the US but maybe you'll make a trip here one day and give us all a personal lesson?!

    Greetings Paul, I’m a new subscriber, and my name is Stephen Jeffries, I’m an older fella (67) retired, married to my H.S. Sweetheart (47 yr.) just starting out in Watercolors I’ve got a small fortune invested in Art supplies ( that’s just the way I am…I know, weird huh?)I love your videos your a wonderful teacher and a fantastic Artist!I fell in love with the line and wash technique I think it’s a great way to paint and draw I’m so sold on this technique…that, like a few of your other students you mentioned who do nothing else but Line & Was I could see that I feel the same way they do “I absolutely love this kind of art! at any rate that’s my intro on who I am, I’m looking forward to learning from you! I’m very excited! I’ve also signed up for a few watercolor courses from Domestika Art Courses online I’ve actually purchased quite a few…ok well my Friend Be Well! & God Bless!

    I did it!!! :) I'm relatively new at painting in general, it's been 6 months since I started this incredible adventure, but I can see light in the tunnel so it's not so bad, ha ha :) So first of all I want to thank you for showing how to use watercolor, I do like your method, and I can see it's working well in my hands :) I did the sketch on my own to learn this one as well, there are bits and pieces that need working on but generally the outcome looks fine :) I like the tips about perspective that you have provided, they help position the object on paper. I keep on painting with you :) Cheers :)
