Two things can be right simultaneously. I can acknowledge that I understand the Jaguars plan with the offensive line romm AND I can also admit that that room is my biggest concern for the team in 2024. This episode looks at the unit I'd prefer to duplicate the best player for and the trenches on offense wins easily.

ayy look at that, that's why most of us were saying they should draft O-line like JPJ. The O-line was the main issue all year and going into the offseason and it's the one position group they really didn't fix. I'm guessing they were hoping they don't need to because last year was just freak injuries and everyone will be fine this year. I doubt it when you've got a whole O-line room of basically broken, older guys, but whatever.

The O-Line concerns me the most, by far. Our depth is terrible. I know the coaching staff likes Cooper Hodges and I sincerely hope he plays very well, but he was a late round pick from a smaller school, so please excuse my pessimism. Walker Little essentially ended our season last year when he was walked back to the QB and stepped on Trevor's ankle. Everything was downhill from that point. Every week, Trevor had a new injury. Yes, we signed Morse and that was great, but behind him we have Shatley, who has regressed big time over the past couple seasons and Luke Fortner who shouldn't even be on an NFL roster. I am semi-optimistic about backup OT Javon Foster, but he's a rookie. On top of all of that, Robinson, Cleveland and Scherff all either played with injuries or missed time due to injuries last year. This is a very, very shaky unit.

I think the O line is better than average, but the problem is they can't afford to lose anyone for any length of time especially at Guard and center, but as a healthy group they are quite serviceable .... who is the backup center, who is the backup guard

Fortner is Backup Center...they are not gonna cut him and noone else is gonna be the backup at center

That is my biggest concern also because keeping Trevor clean is critical

I agree, you must protect your quarterback and put together the best offensive line you can. But I have doubts about this o-line.
