- This is a recipe similar to my Mommas. She never wrote hers down and I have tried several times to create it, with no luck. So this is my version of potato salad, using some of the things I know she did. She did not put pickles in hers, but she did add fresh dill. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

I like the flower on top. I use celery, bell pepper, onions and pickles in mine..
I love potatoe salad and my family loves mine so I always get that job. Green pepper is great in it but my family would rather not have it so I leave it out. One thing I do with mine, I love onion in my potatoe salad but I don't like it after it sits overnight in the fridge so I chop up a bunch of green onions and pile them in the middle of the salad, that way I can have my onions and if there's any left I take the onions off and usually stick them in the freezer.

Yummy, i love potato salad. Thanks for sharing the boiled egg tip. My Mama used onions and green peppers and it really made the potato salad taste so good she also used some of the pickle juice. Thanks for sharing. 😊

We call them seedling potatoes.
New potatoes boiled with bag of Zatarain’s crab boil, boiled eggs, celery, green onions, dill relish, celery seed ;) mayo, 3 types of mustard, fresh parsley, fresh dill, celery leaves, salt & pepper. Will appear next with egg flower atop & Thank You Lynne
Momma always added fresh dill to hers. She was out potato salad queen. Sadly her recipe died with her. We have all tried to make it as good as she did. And failed. I sure do miss my Momma 😢

This is same recipe that my mother made and how I learn to make it. Except adding the pickles. She would add a little bit of carrot for color.
My mom didn’t add the pickles. But she added fresh dill. Carrots would be pretty ☺️
