Craziest game I’ve watched in a long time. That tying goal rally was unbelievable. Scramble in front of the net, almost goes in, THEN, Detroit hits the post, THEN, detroits D makes a fakin Jerry rice catch to keep it in, THEN, BOOM Raymond scores to tie. AAANDDD THEN in overtime Detroit hits the post TWICE, THEEEEENNN, well gosh golly darnnit, did RAYMOND score again?? You bet your sweet ass he did! CRAZY GAME.

The man won't be winning the Lady Byng any time soon, but he's an absolute class act. Besides the fact he leaves everything he has out on the ice (even when it's frankly more than he ought to), he's always paid heed to the traditions and quirks of Montreal, and I genuinely believe that his influence off the ice, on the bench, and in the locker room is a big part of why the culture in Montreal has been so good since MSL took over. He's helping to foster a healthy atmosphere, especially with the younger guys.

Na. It was 3-1 for the Maple Queefs. The LAUGHS never able to win #4 in a playoff series vs the HABS since 1967😂😂😂
Habs were really wasting their possessions in OT. The Wings wanted it more, they're keeping their postseason hopes alive. Hutson with a beautiful play to nearly score but it ultimately cost a 2 on 1 the other way and the match. He had so much effort, not bad for his first. Towards the end of the 3rd and in OT. Detroit showed resilience by blocking every shot the Habs gave. In less than 24 Hours, it will be Game 82 back at the Bell Centre. It's been a good season to see improvement on the team preparing to be a playoff contender.
Tbf they definitely should have had a power play when Caufield got tripped in ot lol.

Игра для Детройта сложилась крайне драматичной. Проигрывая 1:4 и сравняв за 1,5 минуты до конца счет, и потом вырвав победу в овертайме - это сильно! Молодцы "крылья". Реймонд в концовке сезона просто на звездном уровне играет, забивает важнейшие шайбы и вытащил несколько важнейших игр. Хотелось бы, чтобы в последнем туре регулярки все сложилось благополучно для Детройта и он попал в плей-офф.

Habs have been great at playing spoiler recently, they killed Philadelphia and even though they lost this one it wasn’t easy. Also, you can count the amount of power plays Montreals had in the last two weeks on one hand lol.

Why was Anderson in overtime? Having someone else during the last play might have positioned them closer to the net as a passing option, potentially leading to a score, or at least setting up Lane for one, if not a goal...

MTL are better than their record suggests. They've beaten some top teams this year and have a lot of talent. I think they will be in the playoffs next year for sure.

I am truly hoping for a recurrence of the final regular season 1970's game b/n these two tonight--BUT with Montreal putting the screws to Detroit. In 1970, Cdns had to only score 5 goals if they lost--but the Wings won 10-3 with the Cdns out of the playoffs!!! Cdns pulled the goalie in trying to score more goals!!!!!
