Wellingborough Tour by Preserved Bus 7th April 2024

- Come for a tour of Wellingborough on a bus that's preserved by The Northampton Transport Heritage, during the Wellingborough 11th Annual Bus Rally.
Originally the bus ride would go through to the railway station but I had a special request to visit Roundhouse Way to capture the development as it is today. With all the passengers in agreement we embarked on a grand tour of Wellingborough passing Wellingborough Old Victorian Poor house (Isebrook Hospital) and also looking at Stanton Cross, the tree lined avenues of Finedon Road and Cross Road. Along Gold Street, High Street, Church Street, Market Street, Midland Road and back to the event that was held at the Wellingborough Museum. The big video is being edited as I release this video. This one was just very easy to edit and get straight out to you all.
Big thank you to Wellingborough Museum, 794 Bus Preservation and Northampton Transport Heritage. Also a big big thank you to the bus driver for doing the unexpected and helping to create this wonderful time stamp of our town.

We went on Saturday and the queues were amazing to ride these lovely old buses. It was just like old times driving a bus in London in the 1960s. Great video Purple , thanks for sharing.

I want a smelly bus I moved to Wellingborough in 2001 and I liked it I moved away in 2006 but I do think it’s a great place, got divorced, got a house I still own in earthling borough, still love visiting ME DUCK, I saw plans for all this in 1999, FANTASTIC TOUR love it
