Hi can I clarify, once you put the first thin base coat on your wait until dry then repeat? I am struggling to paint, using either too thin a coat or too heavy a coat. It's difficult to get right
Yes thin coats letting them build up once each layer is allowed to dry least to the touch, otherwise you will both flood the detail with paint, and get clumpy brush strokes as you pull semi-dried paint around the figure
Thank you! I've always wanted to paint Airborne Figures but never really knew how to approach their jump uniforms till I decided to bite the bullet and just try lol
Great job Shane 👍 patience is everyone's best friend in painting figures. How's your Battle of the bulge diorama coming along? Really looking forward to it. 👍 God bless.
Never a truer word spoken! Patience and not being afraid to paint and just allowing yourself to enjoy the act of painting is best way to learn. As for the Bulge Dio, its coming along nicely just mounted the building to the base. And begun filming the groundwork stage
Hi Shane, your paratrooper looks amazing, mate. I really like the figure your painting skills are just brilliant. I'm glad you're showing us what paints you are using so everybody can have a go at painting us para figures. Cheers Gary.
Its awesome to see you doing your best work on one of those new Dynamo Models figures! Thank you for your in depth demo on how to paint this paratrooper, that will come handy for me one day.
Thanks mate! This figure was so nice to work, and pretty challenging to get the M42 uniform to pop but I am super happy with it! Planning on doing some paratroops in the future mate ?
@@longlance67 Not a paratrooper per se, but infantry and afv crews might be on the menue sooner or later! You showed well which green colors one could use and i think that is of use for other branches of the army, too!
@@longlance67 Nah. no need to thank me for a well earned compliment, mate! I almost forgot to wish you lots and lots of fun on Friday 🍺 Go big, go green! Sláinte!
nice job but your cammera need better focus
