Great to see something historical. Very cool. Also appreciate seeing all the brush work you do. I don't have an airbrush yet and won't for a while so seeing anything I can do my hand is helpful. Thanks for the great video!
Yes Haters is a word and actual part of the Kit a lot of WW2 guys wore daily. I covered from ankle to mid calf with a strap going under the shoes just forward of the heels.
Just to repeat what's already been said bro. My personal gaming systems are Bolt Action and Flames of War so it was surprising to see you do this. Keep it icy, all day every day! :)
Very insightful video. I like how you explained some of the techniques and why you use them. Some guys just do an amazing job and your left asking yourself how did he just do that? So far i have just speed painted my bolt action guys. I noticed that they are slightly smaller than marine scouts. Any tips on how to paint these smaller models with good detail. Is it better brushes? A magnifying glass? I guess i have gotten spoiled with the Primaris range and Legion models being 32 mm scale.
I can't relay to you how important you doing WWII anything is to us. I build tanks with my son and employ all your technical knowledge to it. Yup, sci fi for my Shermans. My son says my 1/100 scale tanks looks like your Orcs. High praise in my book. Now, my figures skin tones might actually look good because of this. PS: we did support by ordering stickers and shirts. Twitch next. Thanks. Oooooo yeah!
Amazing paint job Kenny, please do more of these. Also, since I don't have an air brush, can I get the same green result if prime black and give it a light can spray of white like you said. Then mix the green very thin and kinda glaze it?
Hey Kenny, Warlord just released small unit rules for Bolt Action. Think what Kill Team is for 40k. Might be a good entry point if you don't want to paint a whole big unit.
Great tutorial. Oddly enough, this was the one unit I would not build with my Paratrooper set, haha. I like the rest of the units, just not this option. Either way, this is a great tutorial on how to paint these figures. I'll have to check out your other videos after stumbling upon this one.
Dude if "next level" why not paint the warpaint these guys had on their faces when jumping on D-Day? Look it up...they were called "the Filthy Thirteen" of the 101st Airborne BTW. All this play-pretend is nice but people need to pick up some books and learn about what they play and have a passion for....no offense bloke. cheers.

Gaiters are the canvas covers over their boots and lower legs, a lot of US army gaiters were that same off white cover, hence the name.
Great to see historicals from you! Napoleonics next please!
Bolt action is the shit. Great vid, bud. I’ve still got about a company of Rangers to paint up and this gives me a great excuse to get an airbrush.

Best bolt action painting tutorial ever. Thank you

Great to see an artist branch out and expand their skills. Way to go man!

@@NextLevelPainting not a problem, meng. You've helped make father/son time great
Never though I'd see Bolt Action on this channel
Awesome to see some Bolt Action love!
Any chance for more Bolt Action?
Got to say, one of your more inspirational vids. Time to get of my arse and lay down some paint. Thanks!
Cool stuff! One of these days I have to get my hands on an airbrush! Love your work.

yep, or even just grey primer and a white drybrush

Very cool to see you do historical and some thing that is different from 40k.

I was hoping you'd finish the model.
Great video, much appreciated! Mad skillz as always. You're helping me enhance my abilities alot! Thank you!
Kenny is it better to apply gloss or matt varnish before wash ? Thank you and as always great video.
Gloss my man. Helps the wash get into the recesses and is a stronger protection of the paint underneath. Matte coat the figure when you're done!
@@pazuzu_666 Thank you !
dude....mashing two colors you just worked with and "bam" PERFECT skintone....wtf
guess that comes with expierience :D
So when are you gonna start playing Chain of Command? Easily the best rule set I've ever played.
the literal best day is friday. is this early?
