I didn’t know y’all did painting tutorials, that’s amazing!
Great to watch the washes and highlighting techniques. Really adds that realism to the sculpt!!
Really nice tutorial especially regarding the wash
Great technique and welcome tips on making your miniatures pop.
Good to see some tutorials, very helpful
Excellent tutorial, and timely too, I just finished assembling my US Airborne, and this gave me some ideas. Thanks!
Glad we could help, have fun!
Nice color choices and it's good to see paints used that are not specifically marketed as modern military colors.
It's always fun to try something new!
Awesome tutorial, I learned everything I know about minitures from tutorials. I appreciate it.
Another great tutorial. Your highlighting looked really good and is very encouraging to really focus on that step in my painting
Great tutorial! It was like I was in the room with you watching you paint.
Love that!
Great Tutorial. Showcases the paint well!
Thank you!!
Perfect timing, i'm now starting to paint mine!
Have fun!
Great how to. Like the camera shot. Perfect distance, I felt like I was painting it myself.
Nice tutorial. If did not know you can fix dried pools of clear Matt varnish with a gloss varnish. Great tip.
Really great way to help out your customers. Thanks you guys!
Great video alot of useful techniques. I have been wanting to try my hand at paint some military miniatures even back to the revolutionary war to modern armys.
All in do time...
I love watching your tutorials. I really need to order some paints so my daughter and I can work on our warhammer armies
Thanks for watching!
Im gonna have to watch more of these!
Please do! 😄
Great tutorial - quick and relatively easy techniques to get a very nice tabletop standard mini painted. I usually don't take the time to highlight my minis, but this showed that it doesn't have to take a lot of time or effort and give a really good result. Thanks!
Awesome review, thank you!
A very nice tutorial! thanks for making it!
You're very welcome!
Great tutorial! Highlighting is always an issue for me but you gave an easy to follow example. Thank you.
Very helpful, learning about using washes
Great video. The inspiration I need to tackle the growing piles of minis...
We aim to inspire!
Thank you, this was a great tutorial !
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative and very inspiring !
Glad you enjoyed it
Feels wrong to base coat one of my guys with necrotic flesh-I want him to survive the battle!😂
Thanks for this tutorial!
Maybe he has Zombie powers. Only head shots work.
Great job. You make it look so to make such a great model
We appreciate it!
Real nice tutorial. I never new their was a Flesh Wash.
It's one of my favorites for skin!
Thanks for the great tutorial
Glad it was helpful!
Super helpful video, for some reason I never thought to just dip minis in a bowl of flak....
Glad you liked it!
Very nice result. My suggestion would be to spray on the matte varnish since you can do that in bulk.
Great point!
Oh this is great!
Nice tutorial, I like the early war scheme. Perfect for Sicily or Normandy.
Great painting tutorial. I need to watch more of them keep getting inspired to paint my many boxes of #boltaction figures.
Go for it! We have lots of great tips and tricks on the channel!
Man the hardest part for me is deciding what colors to use. I dont have the patience to hunt for a video of someone painting the same thing I am with the same colors I have. This mini looks so good and I would have never guessed the use of half of these colors.
Very helpful tutorial, especially the stippling explanation, I've wondered what that actually did and how it worked.
The paint names crack me up though, necrotic flesh, troll claws, 🤣
Thanks for the painting tutorial. Watching you gave me a few things to try. I like your stripes on the rifle stock, to make it pop vs. solid color. I will give it a try. I thought that early war airborne had more tan/khaki overall uniform than the light green jacket & dark green on the pants. Time for me to do a bit of research! Have a great day!
Great video. The paintimg of the skin really helps me thats wete i struggle the most
Glad it was helpful!
Overall this is a Great Video. It's one thing to buy all the colors, but to get fantastic results you really need to know which ones to use for your specific application and its function in the process. This video shows how to paint an Early US Airborne Marine. These soldiers can be found in the Band of Brothers set. I like to reference this video when I am painting US soldiers and there are other videos that can help with the other various nations. From the high command and even down to the individual unit level. Another important aspect that this video includes is how to master the technique for different results. I've been involved in this hobby for forty years and I am still learning new skills and mastering the techniques. Enjoy the video.
Wow, thank you so much for your kind words, we're so happy this video could help! Happy wargaming!
I like that you let the batting just be that natural look and didn't prime it and then dry brush it. I've definitely thought that natural look is more fun. But is there any reason you choose to wash and then layer highlights as opposed to wash and then dry brushing to her those highlights?
Cool, well made
Thank you!
I have Escape from Stalingrad KS coming next year; this will be perfect for those minis!
Glad we could help!
This Plastic Mini from Warlord Games US Airborne box is in fact Equipped with a late war aka M1943 Uniform.
Thank you for clarifying!
The m42 jump uniforms were generally the same color top and bottom
Thank you for the clarification!
Question: Why did you choose the Necrotic flesh over Army green as the primer?
Ok not trying to be picky but is this US Airborne or a ParaMarine? There were ParaMarines but they were only around for a very short period of time and I've never seen them represented legitimately in a wargame. If these are ParaMarines then I will def have to get them.
Oh and sadly it's impossible to paint a Marine mini since ArmyPainter doesn't make a "super awesome badass" color. I know I've looked🤣
Great video. WDG
Thanks for the visit Chris!
Marines have paratroopers?
